The V8 Supercars season reaches its highest point as the Bathurst 1000 takes place on Sunday, October 7 at 11:10am (AEDT).
Originating in 1960, the Bathurst 1000 is easily the most high-profile event on the Australian motorsport calendar. It’s also one of the most important in terms of the Supercars season, with 300 points on offer for whoever finishes first in the endurance event.
While the race itself begins on the Sunday, Bathurst is actually a four-day event full of all sorts of motorsporting festivities. Make sure you check out the full schedule at the bottom of this page.
