The Women’s State of Origin is back for a second year, with the New South Wales Blues set to once again clash with the Queensland Maroons at North Sydney Oval.
The match is scheduled to begin at 7:45pm (AEST) on Friday, June 21.
Women’s New South Wales vs Queensland matches were formerly called the interstate challenge, however, it was morphed into the full Origin concept last year, with the Blues taking the original match out by a scoreline of 16 points to 10.
With the concept proving a hit as almost 7,000 people poured through the gates, the match will continue into this year, again as a one-off winner takes all scenario.
