The cricket world turns its attention to another chapter in the sport’s oldest rivalry: Australia vs England in a World Cup semi-final.

Both sides have had their ups and downs throughout the tournament, although the fear in the Aussie camp is they’ve hit the wall at the wrong time, while the hosts have just found their straps.

So, how do the Aussies repeat their group-stage win over the English and progress through to the final? In what areas do they have their opponents covered? What are the key strengths England possess that we need to look out for and – crucially – what weaknesses can we exploit?

The winner of tonight’s semi will go through to play New Zealand in the final following their stunning win over India at Old Trafford. If Australia make it through, it’ll be a rematch of the 2015 decider, while and England-New Zealand final would be a World Cup first and would also see a first-time winner crowned.
