Five-year-old cancer patient Audrey from Adelaide was treated to a behind-the-scenes experience with her family at the Adelaide 500 Supercars race in December 2022 as part of an incredible initiative by the CoolDrive-backed BRT Racing Team in support of Kids with Cancer Foundation.

Audrey and her family – along with other kids with cancer and their families – had the opportunity to meet Tim Slade, sit in the BRT Mustang drivers seat, enjoy a pit tour, grid walks and more, with tickets and these exclusive experiences organised by CoolDrive Auto Parts.

Audrey was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumour in May 2022 and is being treated at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Adelaide with her treatment including chemotherapy and radiation therapy at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Audrey and her family are being assisted by Kids with Cancer Foundation, including Kids with Cancer providing Audrey with a wig to help her regain self-confidence after losing her hair during treatment.

As part of this initiative, CoolDrive Auto Parts also donated a percentage of sales from its November Summer Cooling promotion to the Kids with Cancer Foundation which ran throughout November 2022, with a percentage of sales from every air conditioning compressor sold committed to helping the littlest members of our community in their battles against cancer.

CoolDrive Auto Parts is thrilled to announce $7746 was raised for Kids with Cancer Foundation, and the memories from the behind-the-scenes experience at the Adelaide 500 will help these little warriors and their families through the challenging path ahead.

Kids with Cancer Foundation (Australia) supports children with cancer and their families through providing financial support, critical hospital salaries and infrastructure, cancer research, Care Packs, wigs and more.

100 per cent of direct donations made to Kids with Cancer Foundation go directly towards supporting kids with cancer. To fund operational costs, Kids with Cancer Foundation runs three $2 ‘Winners Choice’ lotteries each year. Visit www.kidswithcancer.org.au.
