WATCH: Mo Salah and Jurgen Klopp involved in heated touchline argument during West Ham draw

Football has just lost a legend, and one of its true gentlemen. Sir Bobby Robson was quite an accomplished player in his playing days with West Brom and Fulham, also winning England caps.
But it was as manager that we all remember him best.
His success with Ipswich Town, winning the FA Cup and UEFA Cup, and paving the way for the foreign impact on the English game by signing the Dutch duo of Frans Thijssen and Arnold Mühren.
He was one of a select group of English managers to enjoy success on the continent with PSV and FC Porto. And more recently, he gave Newcastle United its last decent years.
But his eight years in charge of England stand out as the most successful tenure by any England manager since Alf Ramsey.
True, England did not add to their one trophy. But they had some terrible luck.
The ’86 team had almost everything, except a decent defence. This was rectified in 1990, with a much better back line to augment the running of David Platt and skills of Paul Gascoigne. They should have done it then.
Those memories won’t die for those who saw it all.
RIP Sir Bobby Robson. We’ll miss you.
