Injury concern for Brumbies Blake Schoupp after scrum comes down awkwardly on top of him
Fortunately, the prop was back on his feet but it's likely he'll miss several weeks with that shoulder problem.
Here are my player ratings from the semi-finals of Super Rugby. Submit your own, keeping the figures for mediocre scores aside for reasons of brevity and so that the focus is on the best and worst performers.
Scores should be between anyone over 7 and anyone below 4, i.e. for very good and poor performances. Half scores are allowed i.e. 7.5, 3.5 and so on.
Please submit your own scores for a whole team. The minimum is one team, there is no obligation to score all the games. I average the scores per team by the number submitted.
I will compile everyone’s submitted teams scores and produce Wallaby form teams later in the week. There will be one team of the round and three accumulative teams.
Hurricanes-Brumbies
The Brumbies lacked any spark or penetration. They looked tired after all the travel. The Hurricanes were superior in all facets. The Brumbies missed far too many front on tackles.
S. Sio 7.5/10
S. Moore 3.5/10
B. Alexander 3.5/10
B. Enever 7.5/10
D. Pocock 7.5/10
I. Vaea 7.5/10
J. Tomane 7.5/10
Waratahs-Highlanders
The Waratahs were out-thought and out-paced. The Highlanders played at a tempo that the Waratahs could not stay with. Foley, without a second playmaker, struggled to ignite the back line.
Also the lineout lost far too much of its own ball. The Waratahs were winning the collisions until Palu came off the field.
S. Kepu 7.5/10
W. Palu 8/10
N. Phipps 3.5/10
M. Carraro 3.5/10
R. Horne 8/10
I. Folau 7.5/10
