Rugby Australia's debts blow out to almost $89 million after draw-down of PEP facility

Sportswriters Brett McKay and Ryan O’Connell have finally passed through Customs to return in time for Episode 78 of the Cheap Seats podcast.
#AskTheCheapSeats is back with something of a backlog of questions on topics including Wimbledon, things starting on time, Origin 3, the NBA draft, the Tour de France, and disappointing Australian performances in the Super Rugby semis.
Two Australian sides in the Super Rugby Semis delivered zero Australian sides in the Final, as both the Brumbies and Waratahs were outplayed. Plus there was refereeing controversy.
Also, Origin 3 teams have been be named, and yet again there’s selection shenanigans involved.
In other news, James Hird tries to take the moral high ground, claiming someone else was “naive and idiotic”, the Ashes Series commences next week, the Matildas dream run at the Women’s World Cup came to an end, and the NBA Finals have been run and won.
Plus there’s a wrap up of the Cheap Seats Tipping League, which you can still join (if you prefer late starts) here.
Get us on Twitter at @CheapSeatsPod, PLUS now on the TuneIn radio app as well, and get your questions in for next week using the tag #AskTheCheapSeats. And stay cheap!
