Ump reverses free and puts Hawk on report for headbutt... misses Crow's choke hold on him
Changkuoth Jiath was placed on report after headbutting Mitch Hinge during a scuffle.
We have got a hold of the letter Alex Fasolo sent to the AFL begging for leniency after the Collingwood player was filmed urinating into a cup during his side’s NAB Challenge game against Geelong.
The letter must have been a success because Fasolo’s only punishment ended up being a formal warning.
Dear Gillon,
I understand taking urinating in a cup isn’t the classiest thing a bloke can do and I also realise it doesn’t set a great example for all the young pups watching the NAB Challenge.
But what’s a bloke supposed to do? When nature calls, you answer. You know what I mean?
Anyway, let’s put my actions in perspective. Why don’t we have a look at some other Aussie sports stars – exclusively NRL players strange enough – and their urinary exploits.
Greg Bird of the Gold Coast Titans took a slash on a police car on his honeymoon.
Todd Carney of the Canberra Raiders, at the time, took a whizz on a stranger in a pub.
The same Todd Carney, this time of the Cronulla Sharks, peed in his own mouth. Carney must have a small bladder or something…
Russel Packer of the New Zealand Warriors pissed his pants on the field in the middle of a game at Suncorp Stadium.
Me? All I did was subtly try to relieve myself, in a cup – not on a police vehicle, anyone else, in the middle of the field or in my own mouth – trying to conceal the entire ordeal with a towel.
I’ve been told a suspension and fine is being considered and I find this to be excessive. It’s not as if I flopped out the ol’ flesh hammer and started swinging it around, spraying urine on everyone like the sprinkler from hell.
So please Mr. McLachlan, don’t suspend me. This is all a bit of a storm in a pee cup.
Sincerely,
Alex Fasolo

Not Tex's finest hour...
Hawk Seamus Mitchell was pinged near Adelaide's goal despite having zero prior opportunity - and Sam Mitchell wasn't impressed.
He somehow stayed neutral!
Surprisingly, he didn't think there was anything in it!
What a legend!
