The 2023 Trade Period has just two days to go, and a series of major deal still remain on the table as time ticks down. Join The Roar for a live blog and rolling coverage of the day’s news, rumours and action from 9am (AEDT).

Fremantle dominated the start of the second week on the trade table, netting compensation picks for losing Lachie Schultz to Collingwood and Liam Henry to St Kilda – but it was a very different story for two other major players in Hawthorn and Port Adelaide.

The Hawks still need to finalise moves for contracted talls Mabior Chol (Gold Coast) and Jack Gunston (Brisbane), while also receiving the best possible deal from Richmond in exchange for Jacob Koschitzke.

The Power, too, have a number of deals yet to do, the biggest for Esava Ratugolea; a move that now seems more likely than ever to fall apart with both they and Geelong at an impasse over his value. Should that happen, the Power will need to take the defender via the national draft, while any further hold-ups will also impact an impending trade with Essendon for Brandon Zerk-Thatcher in which Xavier Duursma is also involved.
