ROUND 3 – Into Round 3 we go. Berridge starts out explosive landing a couple of nice shots. Berridge to the body and misses big upstairs, Foley makes him pay by landing a stiff shot. Foley’s timing is off a little, hasn’t fought since the draw with Berridge and it’s showing a little here. Berridge scoring comfortably, but as I write Foley comes together and lands a couple to end the round. BERRIDGE 10-9

Some talk that the main event is in dispute as Wood camp are complaining about the gloves being used. Aussie Boxing!

ROUND 2 – Berridge scoring nicely with the jab. Pace of this fight isn’t electric but we’re going twelve in this one so early doors. Foley is quite tentative and as I type Berridge lands a lovely rip to the body, which Foley clearly felt as he grimaces. Berridge again does some nice body work in close as the bell sounds. Another round for Berridge for me. 10-9 BERRIDGE

ROUND 1 – Both fighters just feeling each other out in this one. Berridge looking the better which is understandable given Foley hasn’t been in the ring for a while. Foley does land some nice shots at the conclusion of the round but I’d give it to Berridge for his early work. 10-9 BERRIDGE

Foley is 16 fights, 14 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss and Berridge 24 fights, 22 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. Berridge current PABA Light Heavyweight Champ. Should be a beauty!

Next fight will be an absolute cracker. Kerry Foley v Robert Berridge, both can really bang! Last fight was a draw and certainly was entertaining

Well just as the fight seemed to be slowing down, Quinn goes bang! and a seven punch combination followed up by a short left hook does the damage and Revill is out! Explosive start to the evening, could this be a sign of things to come.

ROUND 4 – Quinn in firm control here but only at midway point of this fight so a lot can still happen. Revill will have to find his second wind as the pace seems to be taking its toll. Quinn traps Revill against the ropes and unleashes against the ropes, landing four or five punches unanswered and just like that the referee waives this one off. QUINN by KO in RD 4!

ROUND 3 – Into the 3rd round we go. Quinn again taking control, although both men begin to tire. Quinn’s jab is working well for him and Revill although still willing is looking like some of these shots are taking their toll. Revill just not doing enough to trouble Quinn, standing in front and not getting punches off to the some volume as Quinn. Ends the third round and its 3-0 Quinn. 10-9 QUINN

ROUND 2 – Referee tells Quinn’s corner that he has recorded the headbutt meaning that if Revill is stopped on cuts due to the headbutt, it will not be a TKO, as not from a scoring punch. Quinn has picked up where he left off at the end of Round 1, scoring with some nice shots. Neither man really going to the body at this point, now Revill trying to find some success with his punches but Quinn gets out of the dangerzone well. Quinn ends the round with a nice flurry and has the first two rounds in the books. 10-9 QUINN

ROUND 1 – Quinn starting the better of the two getting some good shots in. Quinn pushing the action early and looking to gain the authority. Quinn looks the more composed fighter of the two, taking his time with his shots, looking for the opening. Revill lands a good shot and it seems to bring Quinn to life as he unloads some nice shots in the corner and Revill takes them and fire back a couple of his own as the crowd roars. Both men exchange, come together and bump heads. 10-9 QUINN

Geale vs Wood: Fight preview, live updates, round-by-round scores plus undercard

Revill is 7 fights (7wins) – Quinn is 9 fights (7w-1d,1l) , should be a good one here.

Time for fight 2, Jake Revill v Shane Quinn

Geale vs Wood: Fight preview, live updates, round-by-round scores plus undercard

Pitt has a huge height and reach advantage and as you’d expect he is scoring well with his jab. Solitua is doing a good job of closing the distance and getting on the inside and Pitt is on the back foot, which you don’t usually see that happen to the bigger man. Solitua is loading up with some big right hands and Brad Pitt walks back and loads up a huge combination that floors Solitua and he is out just like that. Fight over!! A devastating knockout by Pitt. Was on the backfoot for the early stages but the first combination of note has seen him suffer a devastating knockout. Looking at the replay now and it’s a single left hook that just flick the switch and Pitt wins in a first round KO. Impressive, let’s hope he fights more regularly this time around.

Brad Pitt is 14-0, hasn’t fought since late 2012. Shown a lot of potential, but very inactive in recent years. Solitua is 4-0, and with Terry Devlin in his corner, you know he’ll be prepared. Here we go!

Thanks for everyone who logged on and joined the conversation tonight. Another twist in the Mundine tale to come. Commentators are calling for a rematch, lets hope that doesn’t happen. I reckon fights are there if Mundine wants them. They will be a step up, but he’s been talking it up for a while now, it’s make or break. See you next time!

Mundine vs Mosley: Fight preview, live updates, round-by-round scores plus undercard

Mundine takes away the WBA International Title, which will improve his ranking in the WBA. That could put him in line to take on Miguel Cotto, who has been disappointing in his last few fights. Victor Ortiz is another who was touted as a potential opponent for Shane Mosley and Mundine could get the same opportunity. There are also fighters such as Amir Khan who are looking to make the jump to Welterweight to line-up potential clashes with Floyd Mayweather and may see Mundine as an opponent where they can make a statement.

Mundine vs Mosley: Fight preview, live updates, round-by-round scores plus undercard

Mundine can only fight what’s in front of him, and he clearly won every round so credit must go to him. He looked very good, but he wont get Mayweather, not yet anyway. He’d have to make a statement against a Cotto or Ortiz.

Mundine vs Mosley: Fight preview, live updates, round-by-round scores plus undercard

What shambles, Mosley just never looked interested. This is the problem with fighters coming from overseas and having already earned over $1 million before they step in the ring. I said it in my preview and we saw it with Roy Jones, how eager are they to engage in a war when the money is in the bank. Don’t want to throw stones before all the facts are out, but it’s not a good look.

7TH ROUND- Mosley again complaining about a sore back. Doctor is coming in and he stops the fight! Doctor will not let him continue with a sore back. Mundine wins in the 7th round due to doctors stoppage.

Mundine vs Mosley: Fight preview, live updates, round-by-round scores plus undercard

6TH ROUND- So far its a Mundine shutout. Mundine coming forward, trying to boss Mosley around the ring. Mosley is complaining about back pain and just doesn’t seem to have any pop in his punches. Mosley will soon be looking for a knockout as the margin on the scorecards increases. Mundine again is scoring well with his jab. Mosley is just standing right in front of Mundine, not using angles at all and standing right in the killzone. Mosley starting to clinch more and more and Mundine is really scoring well with his jab-right hook combination. Mosley looking to go to the body but Mundine just skips away and scores some body shots of his own. Mundine’s fight to lose. Another round for The Man. MUNDINE 10-9

Mundine vs Mosley: Fight preview, live updates, round-by-round scores plus undercard

5TH ROUND – Looking at both corners, Mosley doesn’t seem that into this fight. Jack Mosley really trying to spark his man as Sugar looks on looking in a bit of strife. Mundine catches Mosley coming in yet again. Mundine again the aggressor and is now coming forward and looking to engage. Mosley again just throwing single shots, looking tired. Mundine is scoring with his jab and Mosley really needs to increase his output if he wants to begin winning rounds. Mosley is constantly on the back foot. Mundine throwing some good shots, not all of them score, but will be enough for the judges. MUNDINE 10-9

Mundine vs Mosley: Fight preview, live updates, round-by-round scores plus undercard

4TH ROUND – We start the 4th round and let’s hope Mosley is on a slow burn as he hasn’t shown a lot so far. Mosley puts a couple of shots together and lands well to the body. Mundine is holding a high guard and not his traditional style. Mosley tags Mundine will a big right hand and Mundine buckles for a second. Mundine lands a big shot in return and Mosley buckles and looks like he is going to go down. Mundine lands another nice shot and Mosley is looking in a bit of trouble. Mosley has never been down in his career, but Mosley certainly looks shaky on his legs. Mosley eats another jab and now Mundine is letting his hands go a little more. It’s a clear Mundine round again. MUNDINE 10-9
