No, we play 3 years of test matches to test ourselves and then once every 4 years play a silly group knockout tournament where a team that wins three matches against arbitrary opponents gets to call itself “World Champion”

Ireland retain third-placed IRB ranking after win over Wallabies

it’s what he hasn’t done.
3 tries in 14 tests isn’t setting the world on fire.

Wallabies team to play England: Horne to make first start of tour

Pretty sure Slipper shoulder barged one of his own players when he was retiring from that maul…..

jayzuz…….

Bit of patience the first time you’ve seen the 20 boys……..
Looks like a long knight in the office….

I dont understand how either Robinson or Skelton made he cut…

You talk about restraint of trade in Wallaby selection and then want the ARU to both restrain and devalue an Australian player by applying a transfer fee……
What right does the ARU have to dictate where a player earns his living?
Last I checked, thee ARU doesn’t actually “develop” players, the players do most of that themselves.

Wallabies must choose: Silver, or gold jersey

Could be just me, but I think Tomane is out of his depth here.
He has been largely a passenger as a winger in tests. What is it now, 3 tries from 20?

Everyone gets a game: Time for Cheika to just try stuff

Setanta isn’t showing the match, one of you blokes be a good chap and put it up on youtube thanks….

Wallabies wary after French revolution

Then his answer should have been “Haven’t given it much thought, just focusing on the match against France”

Hooper says Wallabies "excited" to have Beale back on board

Phipps needs to forget about his IQ and worry more about not passing the ball to the runners feet, one foot above their heads, or to where they were half a second ago…….and not taking two steps to do it.

Cheika wants Wallabies to be smarter

Its a zen question.
If Ritchie is offside, playing the ball on the ground in a ruck and no one sees it, did it really happen?

All Blacks cry foul over refereeing

Another area lacking is chasing penalties in case the ball hits the uprights.
Hardly ever happens, but the AB’s have consistently 2 or 3 players tasked to this, McCaw being one.
In a match where the game can be one by doing the 1% of small things 100% correctly, it shows the AB’s attitude.

I already like what I see from the Cheika Wallabies

Silly premise.
If your actions cause injury or loss to a third party you are liable. End of story.
Being on bicycle at the time doesn’t grant you magical immunity from common law.
If riding in a competitive or otherwise high risk scenario, all the more reason to make sure you are covered.
Another case of people wearing lycra thinking they are special.

Legally liable on your bike? A dangerous precedent emerges

It’s not just about the money or the rules.
You are forgetting that many of these players grew up in their homeland idolizing the AB’s or Wallabies and dreaming of one day playing for them.
The Tongan Thor for example said he always wanted to be a Wallaby….
Bit like a kid who grew up in NSW and makes the Randwick 1st XV dreaming of playing for the Reds.

International eligibility rules: Who should play for your country?

Both Lord and Spiro just put out click bait.
Their combined back catalog of articles contains more flipflops than Bondi on a Saturday afternoon…

Cheika sends the Wallabies a warning with Beale call

Alot of people mistake what a CEO’s role is here I think.
His job is to oversee the game, not the Wallabies, that’s the Coach and his team.
He came into a cash strapped organization, cut costs while still expanding the game (NRC).
This incident should have been handled by Link and the senior players, but those same senior players leaking tidbits about the incident(s) turned it into a media circus.
Beale is obviously problem number 1.
Di’s mismanagment of the text incident is problem 2, she should have disclosed it at the time.
Link may or may not have covered it up for his own reasons, personal or professional we just don;t know, and he is possibly problem number 3.

BREAKING: Beale not guilty on serious charge, will join Wallabies Spring Tour

Funny that the 3rd Google response for “rugby rebecca wilson” is a facebook page calling for her firing…..

A story will come out one day with all the facts, I’ll make my mind up then.
Until then Beale is still a poison pill, it won’t be long before he stuffs up again.

BREAKING: Beale not guilty on serious charge, will join Wallabies Spring Tour

No “I or me” from the players?
Just because you say it doesn’t make it so. The same with most of your other points.
AAC, the most capped player in the squad and also the Captain were very clear in saying “I” support my Tahs mate Grubby Beale. That flies in the face of both the team and the management and sends a clear message that “we are more important than the team”
It was a mix of these same players and the now departed Drew Mitchell who were conversely not supportive of their mate QC when he made the toxic claim.
AAC earned his player power stripes at the Brumbies and only seems to have gained rank at the Tahs.

Don't believe the hype: ARU culture is not rotten

Didn’t Slipper also support Beale?

But all good points.

The players as a whole need a wake up call, a reminder of what playing as a wallaby is all about.
The whole extended squad should be lined up in front of 23 jerseys and be told “whoever is willing to play the Euro tour for no pay step forward.”

The savings can be used to revamp Ballymoore as the Permanent Wallaby Home..

A blueprint for Wallaby reformation

It wasn’t him, the forwards couldn’t run it out for 2 minutes.
No more Ben’s in the Wallabies…..ever.

I’m gutted.
78 minutes with only a few bad calls and then they collapse.
Gutted I say.
