Hi Nick. This algorithm looks very interesting and will be interesting to see How it looks at the end of the season.
I wonder have you made allowances for player movements and return of long term injured players. E.g. Lynch to Richmond, Dahlhaus to Geelong, loss of Lynch, May and others from Suns, return of Bruce to Saints.
The formula that reveals this season's AFL ladder
Again an interesting approach to ladder prediction. I hope that both you and Joshua Cole continue to up date as the season progresses. I imagine that the predictions will swing significantly in the early part of the season, becoming more accurate as the season progresses. My suspicion is GWS and Crows will improve quickly while Saints (unfortunately) will trail off. I look forward to updates. Geoff.
