Agreed, it is difficult to see a club like the Raiders develop players and then loose them to other clubs

I would love to see the interchange dropped to 6 or even 4 to allow the game to open up and remove the part time forward. I love players like George Rose and Willie Mason but having players like these run around for 10minutes and then have a 30minute sit down and then do it all over again after halftime seems pointless. Wouldn’t it be better to see the interchange player be more valuable and be more of an impact player who can come on and change the game rather then another forward rotation

Is that any different from any other year? If they have so much to sort out then perhaps they should start a little earlier. I would imagine they are hanging onto the story to keep the NRL in the media later into the year.

3 of those years have been played at the Knights with little or no success and last year he scored a total of 3 trys. Not really an impact player and hardly deserving of a place in the QLD team.

Is it true that Shane Watson was asked to pick his team from paying member of the crowd half an hour before the match? Had half of the guys in the “Australian” shirts ever played more than backyard cricket on a bucks night?
I still don’t understand why 2 teams met in an empty stadium in a non cricket country (yes I understand the political turmoil in Pakistan). When did sport become about playing a match for the sake of it rather than for the entertainment of paying crowds? Why bother playing the matches at all? If a cricket match is played without any witnesses did it really ever happen, was that a tree falling in the woods?

Im sorry but Boyd is the most overrated player in the NRL. His reputation comes from being lucky enough to have Inglis passing you the ball to put down in the corner. Boyd has only been a good player when those around him are doing all the hard work.
