That is my concern. I hope ego does not get in the way and EJ takes a careful look at what worked under Rennie.

While the article may explain why RA dumped Rennie the process still appears to have a bit of stink about it. Certainly in the past RA have stuck with coaches who have a poor record (Cheika spings to mind) irrespective of the groans coming from the fans.
Rennie (and the Wallabies) had some real challenges over the last few months but showed more heart and determination than I saw in the past.
The job is done now and EJ better bloody deliver. If not all those who masterminded the change really should resign and get some now blood in the management of RA. Someone with a plan to grow the game and support regional rugby.

Eddie is coming back! As noted by others I am not entirely sure this is a great move given how close we are to the world cup and the Wallabies appear to be showing promise.
Again as noted by others, it has been a tough time for them but I thought the Wales win was evidence of a great deal of courage and heart. It appeared to bode well (provided the habit of highly speculative passes is scrubbed). Unless Eddie sticks with Rennie’s set up it will be a rebuild ….. again. The ‘Jones’ touch did not help England much recently.
Rennie would be quite right to be upset and I think the Wallabies actually liked him (happy to be corrected).

I can only agree. Even if EJ proves to be as good as RA think, the method of ditching Rennie was poor.
