I for one want Jack Bird to stay at the Broncos, last year before he was injured he was just starting to show some of the skills he was brought for. If he’s moved on, I see another Scott Prince who left after 2 broken legs in 2 seasons, never to be injured again and play a starring role at another club
NRL rule tweaks here to stay as Broncos pick up deserved spoon
I think that’s the Broncos biggest problem, the ‘experienced veterans’ Boyd and Milford have been mailing in performances for the past 2-3 years and the young ones are just sick of carrying them.
Croft will be dropped this week for Dearden after failing to win 5-6 games, yet Milford has had 5+ years to become something other than an overpaid passenger in this team and will be picked but hardly seen doing anything on the field again this weekend
Eight talking points from NRL Round 8
Milford needs to be running the team more for the money he’s paid, forwards going forward or not. There were plenty of games JT played for the Cowboys when they weren’t going well and he either won it in spite of the forwards not getting it done or die trying to win it, and for the $1mil a season I’d expect Milford to be doing the same now.
Last game even when we did get into a good field position there was no direction or moments of brilliance to get over the try line
Time for the Broncos to move on from Milford
Insider, same mate. After getting Kayo this year I’m liking the game again. Less dribble about decisions and more about what’s actually happening on the field, and actually seeing every team play is awesome

What’s the plan for Game 3? Bring James into the team but really stick it in, name him on the bench and have him ride the pine for the entire game.
Matt Prior isn’t the popular selection, but he’s the right selection
Tom, come on you couldn’t even find a decent cricketer from NSW for your last paragraph analogy.
