When Harry decided to change his name, he said it was brought about through his “journey from decolonisation”. That just screams “tosser”.

AFL NEWS: Buckley responds to new Heritier Lumumba allegations, Voss responds to viral Patrick Cripps incident

Harry knows that if he buries the hatchet with Collingwood, he ceases to be relevant, and his time in the spotlight fades – along with any book sales that he might fluke.

Absolutely agree. He is clearly reluctant to move on as he perceives (correctly) that he will no longer have the attention of the press. I think the majority of the football public lost interest in his claims long ago.

Absolutely agree. I am sure Cummins has told the new coach what he expects of him, and assured him he will stab him in the back if he is not happy with him.

Is the Australian cricket team becoming dangerously arrogant again?

How ironic that this guy has an alcohol problem and is suspended whilst playing in a competition sponsored by Heineken. Alcohol and rugby just seem to go together don’t they ?

'Latu is a problem': Furious club owner reacts to Wallabies' 11-week ban, says he has alcohol 'addiction'

Richardson must have upset someone in the test XI mafia. He has definitely been stabbed in the back.

'Goodness me:' Major shock as Jhye Richardson axed from Cricket Australia's contract list

I think you nailed it.

Not sure how Finch gets into any first XI

Faulkner sounds like a complete knob. Perhaps CA should seek to repair the damage he has done with the Pakistan authorities, not for his sake, but that of Aus/Pak relations.

Aussie star breaks chandelier, quits PSL in extraordinary pay dispute 'disgrace' - and the PSL fires right back

This discussion has now descended into nonsense.

The toxic, cancerous culture of Australian cricket

“It is the year 2000.
The world has recently moved into the 21st century ”
Actually that didn’t happen until the 1st of January 2001.

The toxic, cancerous culture of Australian cricket

Surely the question must be, why does he get hit in the head so often ? Presumably it is a technique issue. He clearly has no issue seeing the balls to hit, so why does he have trouble seeing the balls to dodge ? In any event, his life is at risk if he gets another I think, so time to pull the pin.

COMMENT: Cricket Australia must act now to save Will Pucovski from himself

A number of players have indicated that they had no knowledge of what was happening. I think it’s fair to say that Khawaja, Carey, Green, Richardson, Boland, Neser and perhaps Head, had no part in it.
My main suspects would be Warner, Smith, Lyon and Cummins.

'JL hurt by the back stabbing': How will fans treat Cummins now after uncivil war between old and new guards?

I absolutely agree. I doubt we will ever know exactly what Cummins’ role was, unless someone else in the player group grows a pair and tells the truth. Cummins “statement” was just another prepared, mealy-mouth piece of self justification, which carries no weight at all with me.

A natural born leader ? A natural born backstabber more like it.

ANALYSIS: The 'dick pic' that helped scuttle Langer and fast tracked a natural born leader

I agree, and for reasons I can’t explain, a voice in my mind says Starc was probably not involved. That being the case, why would the opinions of the Sandpapergate c heats be entertained.

'Exact opposite of Langer': The intensely private Andrew McDonald and what will change with him in charge

So long as he is kept away from junior cricketers.

'Exact opposite of Langer': The intensely private Andrew McDonald and what will change with him in charge

Whether players choose to go is up to them, but I must say I am surprised by all the faith expressed in the CA board in the comments below, given the events of the last week.

Troubling reports suggest Australian players could opt out of Pakistan tour

“the main decisions should be made by senior players”
Really ? And how did that work out in South Africa ?

'Exact opposite of Langer': The intensely private Andrew McDonald and what will change with him in charge

He didn’t play much either. Still puzzles me how he got the bowling coach job.

As expected, all class from Langer, and none from anyone else involved in this.

Justin Langer resigns as Test coach with immediate effect, camp blames 'faceless few,' CA reacts

Can anyone not see the irony in the fact that two of the three players who brought Australian cricket into disrepute, now form part of the group who sit in judgement on the man who was tasked with repairing the damage they caused ?
Throw in a couple of players (and one, captain) who are obviously too entitled to appreciate the great honour they have been given to represent our country, and you have something that borders on farce.

Justin Langer resigns as Test coach with immediate effect, camp blames 'faceless few,' CA reacts

I sincerely hope the players who brought all this about are named soon. I would bet Cummins, Smith, Warner and Lyon are among them.

Cummins is a dog as far as I am concerned. He can join Smith and Warner on that list.
