brutally cold night game at Canberra a few years ago watching the giants. Commentators blew up saying how few fans turned up – what would you expect, middle of winter in Canberra! Play games down there by all means, but program at the start or the end of the seaon

What will the rule changes mean?
All well and good but I did not even know the game was on until I was in the car and happened to flick onto ABC radio! Summer for me is cricket and not even being aware of the game is astounding. For all the money that cricket aust has gobbled up in the tv rights, I believe they will be regretting the decision of passing internationals to foxtel alone. Would have been a better outcome for fans to have both show the game live even if 7 put it onto one of the digital channels. Very poor cricket aust for what was meant to have been a very entertaining game
