I think Sloan should be on the bench and come on as a strike player late in the games. He’s not Saints long term fullback.

Anyone can see Bird’s too slow except Flanagan. RFM also was terrible yesterday, I can see why Canterbury were happy to release him.

I could understand if it was a serious brain injury but I don’t get it for a training incident. Good luck to him getting anywhere near a quarter of that amount.

I think Dale’s made the right decision to retire immediately, especially after his concussions. Watching Wally and the Neurologist on Fox today and his speech in Canberra about CTE makes me think 11 days stand down for concussion is not enough, probably 3 weeks at least in my humble opinion.

I’ve stated previously that Lawrie’s too slow at times. Flanagan’s determined to weed out underperforming players and Blake, as much as I like him, just seems to struggle with the fitness level demanded by Flanagan. If he doesn’t improve he could find himself being told, you’re free to look at other clubs.

You’re spot on A J. Robinson is by far the biggest sook in the NRL, daylight second with a three way battle between Sticky, AOB and Hasler. As for the Anzac jersey I think Saints have the best, with the small Red V and the 2nd V done in poppies, looks really good.

Why didn’t the Panthers player get binned GB? You may as well ask the same question as to why Tedesco wasn’t binned the other night. If it was a Tigers player I’ve no doubt he would have been given 10 minutes.
