Agreed. He is outplaying Klemmer as well which, I think, shows why Klemmer has been getting overlooked for Origin for the past few years.
Now they are trying to play him like a Yeo/Murray by being a ball distributer. What are they doing there?
He has no deception, speed or footwork to put the opposition line in any doubt, just slowing the ball distribution down to allow the defensive line time to number up.

He reminds me a lot of Joey Leilua. He has it in him to win a game through pure talent or lose a game through sheer apathy.
He’s still young so his future could be anything, but I think he needs a stint in the reggies to make him reassess his goals as a footballer and get his head in the right space.

Would the Dragons be travelling better without Zac Lomax?

“Now I have a machine gun. Ho Ho Ho”
If that’s not from a Christmas movie, I’m not here. 😁 😂

What is O'Brien's goal coaching the Knights?

Snapping a 7 game losing streak whilst having 6 of your starting 13 missing will make any supporter happy, regardless of the manner in which it came about.

Knight snap seven-game losing streak as Barrett admits Bulldogs need a shake-up

Brailey is the captain once he is back in the team. In his absence, it should be either Frizell, who isn’t a noted talker but could lead with his actions like Chief did as Captain or give it to Gagai who is a talker and has a lot of experience.

Should Kalyn Ponga keep the Knights captaincy?

That was without Ponga and Pearce as well.

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 5

Perhaps that’s why these people keep getting told not to go there; they may not be what is needed to affect change in the club.
From what I’ve seen over the years, there are too many things going wrong in order for a couple of players to fix it.
Just look at how players like Tedesco, Moses and Addo-Carr have thrived once joining a more successful club with a professional culture.
From the top down this club needs to reassess itself and where it wants to be because with all the board disagreements, coaching shuffleboard, and junior talent being overlooked over the years, they aren’t going to buy their way out of this hole.

That has to be the worst 800 minutes of footy I’ve watched. No, that’s not a typo, it just felt like the game went for 800 minutes.
And I’m a Knights supporter who sat through every game in 2016 😢

And now the CEO of the Players Association. I wonder if he had the players best interests at heart with that attempt? 😛

NRL NEWS: Barnett hit for SIX games for elbow to jaw, Robbo ruled out with COVID

“dropped a full metre”?
He was probably an inch or two lower than he would have been when Latrell looked at launching at him! If he was at that height, we would be talking about Latrell breaking his jaw, now his eye socket.
As a famous Queenslander once said… “Turn it up.. Give yourself an uppercut.”

NRL NEWS: Barnett hit for SIX games for elbow to jaw, Robbo ruled out with COVID

As you say it is the perfect time for any team to be taking on the reigning premiers with all of their injuries, but if they do win, or get close, it should be recognized that they did it without Brailey, Klemmer, Fitzgibbon, Jones, Sue, and Hunt.

They are playing a better team game now instead of the “pass it to Ponga” ball from the last couple of years. It has Joey’s fingerprints all over it.

Should be a cracking match.
