Enjoyed the analysis. Have to say though, Jake Gordon looked good in his only wallabies showing against Italy. What happened after that? Cheika dropped him. We haven’t developed the halfback depth we should have because of bad selections… And if the current selection approach has shown us anything it’s thst just because the players are available it doesn’t mean Cheika will pick them.

Anyone who knows the slightest thing about rugby knows this is all just window dressing. The tactics from Cheika et al have been worse than schoolboy level. Attacking runners catching the ball 10m behind the gain line – making life easy for defenders. Kicks that have no value. Basic errors in fundamentals of game such as lineouts and (heaven forbid) passing and catching. It’s not simply that they’re losing. It’s the way they are losing. So bereft of ideas and unable to change the game plan when things aren’t working – quite simply the buck has to stop with the coach. These changes from RA won’t fix any of that. Hugely disappointed fan here.

I’m no financial whiz, but revenue does not equal profit. The question to me is how much of the expected windfall revenue translates into enough profit to not only pay the interest on the loan but pay back the loan/debt itself. It’s not just your incoming revenue, have to consider your outgoings also… it may be RA is in a good position to use the increased revenue to pay down debt, but just a question that comes to mind for me…
