A genuine follower of Rugby in general, Australian Rugby in particular. Am passionate about players futures post rugby in that I hope they receive good, solid financial advice during their limited playing careers to therefore take advantage in order to "set" themselves for life after rugby.

To me, Lynagh has the most promise, as long as he can improve his goal kicking, but hew is still 2 or 3 years away from being a quality international 10. I’m not sure whether Donaldson can get there, same with Edmed. Gordon looks good in patches. NL just doesn’t quite cut it for me (except excellent kicking). Old Dogs should be left sleeping.

The Rebels were a terrible and expensive “experiment”. At times their roster had stars – Cooper, Genia, JOC, Toomua, Higgers, McMahon. Koro etc and still they failed. Enough is enough !

Petaia just doesn’t look interested. Interested in anything ! Boy, he’s been given many more chances than others but still doesn’t deliver. Really don’t know the way forward with this player.

How the Wallabies are building cohesion towards 2023

Too hard to chat with you. Have a nice day !

Will there be two sets of slippers under the table at number 10?

Yes, I thought Hosea was earmarked for big things this year. Swain seems to have overtaken him in the mix.

Coach’s Corner Issue 28: Can the Wallabies get even bigger?

Thanks Nick. Very enlightening.

Coach’s Corner Issue 28: Can the Wallabies get even bigger?

Why don’t you spend some time highlighting his missed tackles, bad decision making and poor ball security in the time prior to heading to Japan.

Will there be two sets of slippers under the table at number 10?

True Rhys, but unless you are an established “first choice” player like a Hooper, Korobete and some others, you often don’t get to put together a couple of poorish games.

TEAM CONFIRMED: McMahon on bench, Holmes becomes oldest Wallaby in pro era, Tate rested

Good to see Tom Wright come in from the cold. I THINK it was the 2nd French game in which he had a shocker. Since then Kellaway has nailed a wing spot.

I think Greg Holmes selection is a big “thank you” for coming into the squad, underdone and as an injury cover. Got to feel a bit for Robertson, though.

Lets just hope McMahon plays like he used to (if he gets the opportunity)

Haha Paddy. I think you need an objective view of Kerevi pre his heading to Japan for the cash grab. 😁 😁

Highlight reels are just that N. As I said, He is a much improved player and the most damaging back we have.

Will there be two sets of slippers under the table at number 10?

Numpty, last sentence is easy to agree with. Previously, Kerevi did have good run metres, but did hog the ball and only pass it when he was in trouble – the ball would often go to ground. Defence was also an issue. He now has improved quite dramatically and seems to follow the game plan and “trust” players outside him. He has made a huge difference to the Wallaby backline ( together with Cooper)

Would like to see Jordan having a shot at 15 but the Test arena is not the place to experiment. Hopefully Thorn will try him there next year in Super Rugby AU. Then, take it from there.

Jordan Petaia's quest to become a proper utility player

Wow S.
what a rich history, and obviously you are not a man to be trifled with.

Thank you for your story, and I’m sure many memories came flooding back as you penned. Thanks.

How rugby turns boys into men

Paddy, I am sure you will be disappointed this weekend as Hooper is a certainty. McMahon looks like getting a bench spot and Fraser will have to bide his time (as will Harry “Kicker of Rennie’s dog” Wilson.

Will there be two sets of slippers under the table at number 10?

Your first sentence is totally correct. BUT he is a much better player since he returned !

Are you saying Thor had a good game last week. Frankly, he WAS sub test standard in THAT game (by his potential). The week before, he was great. Trouble with TT is his consistency !

Wallabies pre-dawn: Why learning from the Townsville win is another important step

Nick, Our lineouts were generally poor. Is that the fault of the thrower, the catcher, the caller or the lifters ?It needs addressing and quickly.

Get your questions in for Issue 28 of Coach's Corner

Noah is a long way off from being an international 10 and I question whether he actually has the necessary skills (or will ever have them). Would like to see some others get some exposure.
