its a shame watson breaks down more than my old ford laser, cause his accuracy is excellent

thats a shame. i really like the bloke. more contribution to australia’s cause than most of the top order.
ASHES: The big talking points from Day Two
call it anything but an A. If Phil Hughes was an A how could Steve Smith be an A?
ASHES: The big talking points from Day Two
Ordinary reply Ronan. It was clearly out but at least we have found the best video umpire in the world at the moment. This bloke. Hope he stays for all 5 tests!
ASHES: The big talking points from Day Two
of course not. give yourself a triple for asking a question with such an obvious answer!
ASHES: The big talking points from Day Two
WAtson needs to produce more. Its as simple as that.

the problem for this author, is he pretty much said Alaistair Cook has only a cut shot. Now he is 35 odd not out and looking alright. He averages 50 in test cricket. You dont average 50 in tests by being ordinary.
ASHES: The big talking points from Day Two
I remember making 98 vs Macquarie Uni and thought it was pretty good at the time. Though now i regret not playing straight and being plumb LBW just short of a ton. I think in time he will look back and think ‘why didnt i let it go through to the keeper’. What a brilliant knock though. Still disappointed he didnt get the triple figures. It would have been one of those incredible moments you would have never forgotten.
Geoff Lemon's Ashes Diary: Agar's magic hasn't yet sunk in
it was worth staying up for. just like that time when they said ‘the winner is syd-e-ney’ in 1993

it was superb stuf from hughes. gone a bit under the radar because of the brilliant knock by agar but he looked safer than ever before.

i reckon the dog would have been glued to it like the rest of us. and probably as disappointed he didnt get to triple figures…

averaging 32 in test cricket aint going to bring the ashes home to its rightful place.
ASHES: Australia's first Test selections show promising intent
what if he gets upset and hits a rhino? they’re protected species these days. Its a risky move, just like picking a spinner who is on a contiki tour of europe.
ASHES: Australia's first Test selections show promising intent
I personally like Darren Lehmann’s idea of picking a kid off a contiki tour and bowling spin in a big ashes series. good thinking form lehman.. cant get more laid back than that.
ASHES: Australia's first Test selections show promising intent
sure Clarke would be keen on that move
ASHES: Australia's first Test selections show promising intent
your 350 is a long way off given australia is 4-75. if things dont go well in the morning it could be 150. need more from the top order.
ASHES: The big talking points from day one
apparantly agar’s bus for his contiki tour leaves on monday so he may play day 5 of the test if it goes that far
ASHES: The big talking points from day one
Bairstow got a decent nut but nothing like playing in the V
ASHES: The big talking points from day one
Stark isnt sheer class but he puts in and bowls with more accuracy than say a Mitchell Johnson. The batting needs to improve quickly
ASHES: The big talking points from day one
a hard fought 30 from the captain could have been useful??? thanks captain obvious! did you see the jaffer he got. Did you think he wanted to get out?? #sillycomment
ASHES: The big talking points from day one
I liked the idea of finding the nearest Contiki tour and picking a young bloke to bowl spin for Australia. It didnt come off but its sometimes good for a young kid to play sport than chasing skirt all the time. Pitch it up Agar, he has some potential.
ASHES: The big talking points from day one
f technology off. its a joke, just like that decision.
