Thanks Spiro for some great articles this year on the Roar I’ve really enjoyed reading them although don’t always agree where you’re coming from.
The AB’s faced a media beatup in Ireland and it was apparent that the commentary, press and post match interview had a pre meditated view of what they wanted to see and hear although in this instance it didn’t appear to be fueled by Joe Schmidt.

As an AB fan I hope the Wallabies put one over England from a Southern Hemisphere perspective. Having lived in London for 13 years they face playing in front of one of the most ignorant crowds in World rugby – Twickenham !

Jones vs Cheika: This time it's nasty and Jones is to blame

Thanks Nicholas Finally I’m not alone !
Tim Horan and Rod Kafer both praised Phipps as he was yanked around 61 mins for Frisby having ignored the poor offload to Speight leading to Saveas try. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
Slow upright pass, poor option taking and unecessary off the ball incidents (pushing Argentine trainer over , throwing Fekitoas boot into crowd) are the only consistent aspects of Phipps game this season.

All Blackened Blue – can the Tahs’ halves really help the Wallabies improve?

Right On Isaac, agree with you although both Rod Kafer and Tim Horan thought differently to how Phipps played saying what a great match he’d had as he trotted off. Phipps attempted offload to Speight enabled Ben Smith to capitalise resulting in The Bus scoring and that hasn’t been mentioned.
The Foxtel commentary team were more affected by the Speight no try than the Wallabies were and were completely discombobulated for the rest of the match. Kearns was unusually quiet but Clarke, Horan and Kafer struggled to move on.
