Kayo has a native app on Apple and Android TV’s as well as the option of Chromecasting, so you can watch Kayo on a 100inch V if you want.
As noted earlier not all subscribers to Foxtel are there for sports and as evidenced most are not. We wanted to get Fox Sports for years, but never did because we would never use the other Fox channels and couldn’t afford an extra $25/month for the mandatory base package which we wouldn’t use. Now that Kayo is just the sports package and is only $25/month instead of $50/month it now makes it affordable.

The A-League is on the up, but there's still room for improvement

The A-league clubs could organise for each local club to be allocated a special promo code to use on the Ticketek (etc) website that lets the fan choose their own seats/ memberships and gives the fan a 10% discount (incentive to buy) and the club gets a 10% commission on each seat (incentive to promote). It provides a closer bond between the A-League Club and their local clubs and they get marketing details/ stats about the fans and clubs to see what areas/ clubs they need to focus their efforts on.

Australian football needs respect

Any idea of how many people watch the FFA Cup on Fox or MyFootball App?

New and familiar faces impress on a brilliant night of FFA Cup action

You’re right, but I often miss concerts for bands I like because I didn’t know they were coming. No I don’t subscribe to their mailing lists or constantly check their FB pages for tour dates. There would be very few people who would be as active as you in following football, and just because they don’t live and breath it like you, doesn’t mean they aren’t interested.

People are busy and if what your selling isn’t front of mind for them and you don’t advertise, people just fill their calendars with other things to do because other people are marketing to them better.

Marketing the A-League is a step in the right direction
