Natinui needs a screamer of a season in 2015. He is just advertising material right now. As for seeing him play (ie GOOD) , don’t blink .you miss it. As you said,purely hypothetical.. Why in the history of the game we have we never seen a left hand dominated batting line up that was any good. The question was in the top 6,generally your top 6 batsmen. Great lefthanded batsmen as i said compliment a batting line up. That’s a load of rubbish about being a right handed selector you pick right handers. Now that is nonsensicle. At least your a cricket fan.

Gilchrist was not in the top six ,batted at 7. So is that the best you can com up with. How many test did Langer,Hayden,Hussey play together. lefthanded dominated batting line ups have been hopeless.

Your a strange one . Nine’s commentary team is like listening to a game show on tv. They just don’t shut up. They’re paid to comment but they don’t have to fill every second with their drivel. All day constantly coaching ,coming up with hypertheticals that are mind boggling . Every thought ,every feeling of anyone who at a minimum has at least bought a ticket to a game. , let alone been out there and played the game. Oh their complete know-alls.all right.Who gives these jokers instructions on their roles behind the mic. How about Tim Lane.Dennis Cometti ,Mike Coward. Ian Chappell , Jim Burke,,Drew Morphett Allan Border, Tom Moody. There is other options out there. taylor.healy.slater,brayshaw,warne,hussey,lee, just get rid of them. Or just small cameos sparingly at best.

Going on history,you name me one champion test side that has 3 or 4 lefthanded top six batsmen .. Lefthanders compliment a batting line up not the foundation of one The same can be said for the bowling attack.

As a fielder, I have broken 4 ribs broken 4 fingers, broken bones in my feet, pulled.tore muscles up and down my body.Could of been a darn lot worse if I just happened to be in that wrong spot at the time. Cricket is a dangerous game albeit a gentlemens game. Mitchell Johnson is a beautiful fast bowler and will always be. Lethal fast bowling goes back a long way. It has just got to be dealt with when faced with. Nobody is comfortable with it. ,whether it’s Test standard to low grade cricket.

Your article is absolutely right. It’s embarrasing to hear the likes of Warne,Healy,Slater,Brayshaw do their thing. Taylor should not be there. Mark Waugh should not be there on 10. One man who has stepped up is Adam Gilchrist on 10. I must blame channel 9 for either directing the commentary team to behave like they do or for not getting them to pull their heads in. Just imagine if the team was Cometti,Lane,Whatley,Coward with past players doing cameos at best. I think it is an outright scam that radio and TV are not co-ordinated.
