penalty only, in my opinion is a fair decision. I couldn’t see anything in the tackle to show that the tackler was trying to hurt the other player… if anything, it looked like he was not trying to cause harm.

Beale was on fire a couple of years ago, and he is showing good form in attack when he has space and good support runners. But he has also had some forgetful touches of the ball, which has left me wondering what he was thinking. Yes, it’s easy for me to criticise what he should have done while sitting in my couch, but there are other players (i.e. Toomua) who have proved (in my mind) that they are more reliable and as result in a better position to secure a wallabies jersey.

I’ll be supporting the team no matter what colours/name they choose to run with. I can understand why certain people would like the new NRC team to adopt a different colour scheme to that of the Vikings; but in the end I’m just glad we’ll have a team to support locally.
