Has he? Where did that come from?

AFL News: Docker demands trade, Curnow needs new role, Pies to keep Daicos in cotton wool, Lions tall retires

Bell was talking like he wanted a high pick….”we used pick 9 to get him, Freo put a lot of time into him, he’s now just showing something, we will take that into account”. No idea why he wants to go, I’m not close enough to the club. I can only assume he is thinking he will get overs if he goes on the market & a few clubs are interested. As I said above, he’s behind a fair few at Freo when it comes to contract $’s & rightly so.

I agree with 13th below….although I rate him a bit, his disposal is a big weekness.

Disappointing with Henry……..the Dockers stuck with him & then when he starts performing? I can see from a money side……he will sit behind a fair few at Freo. Brayshaw, Serong, Young, Amiss, Jackson, Darcy. Maybe he will get a bonus up front to sign on with another club.

There is another reason Dusty flew under the radar. Should not be in the team.

The Roar's predicted AFL All-Australian team: Dusty must make the cut... but who should be left out for him?

Des Headland at Brisbane & Drew Banfield at Eagles also.

Six Points: Meet your new flag favourites, the finals sleeping Giants, and why Sheezel still shouldn't win Rising Star

There is was nothing complicated in reviewing that goal.

Six Points: The coach killer to end all coach killers, and why score review system will always be imperfect

They might be experimenting by default (having a few injuries) but now is not the time to start experimenting by choice.

Footy Fix: How the Lions dismantled sluggish Pies... and proved this is the best chance they'll ever get for a flag

Agree. Simpson has said that he got an extension to oversee the rebuild. So that thinking would need a complete turnaround.

AFL News: McGuire claims Simpson facing axe in bombshell report, Goodwin blasts 'absolute rubbish' rumours

And Amiss.

AFL News: Hinkley locked in at last, Riewoldt the retiring type, hobbled Hawks star's career in limbo

The handball one was a shocker by the field umpire. In my view the mark out of bounds is close, the Boundary Ump had a good view & the photo shows it really close. The carry on by the 2 Pies players is normal for all. The dodgy bounce in the centre square for the Pies was also a shocker.

Footy Fix: No Daicos, no Moore... no better win for Fly's mighty Pies

Easy solution…..pick a replacement ball that is as close to the one you are replacing, whether it’s in the box or not.

There's an easy solution to 'Ball-change-gate' - and fixing it could also solve Test cricket's biggest problem

Gee hasn’t Marsh come a ways in recent years…..interesting comments on him now.

Marnus dumped, Cummins injured, new captain named, uncapped quartet called up as selectors launch new white-ball era

I don’t know. I reckon if you compare the AFL to a like sized company, then the job as CEO of the AFL is a walk in the park. Even with Covid, all companies had big issues. Just fix the fixtures & the GF to get better numbers, disregard fair & equal comp, and of you go to the bank.

TOM MORRIS: The AFL's hierarchy is in shambles - and it's nothing less than a failure of governance

Knott was exceptional up close, but slow bowling was England’s main weapon, apart from Snow. Marsh was more than adequate keeping to Mallett, Jenner & O’keefe but just not as good as Knott to the slowies.

Stumped for answers: It’s got to be over for bumbling Bairstow as he crosses the line between wicketkeeper and backstop

Yeah some not good moments, but I was really referring to this team……since 2018

'Plain and simple': Pat delivers reality check to whingeing Poms, praises Aussies' 'first class dignity', braces for hostile reception

This is all rubbish. England have come along with this “we are changing test cricket” to Bas Ball cricket. We play attractive cricket, we play to our new spirit of the game, we do this, we do that. Bollocks. You do sometimes & then you change. And don’t start putting in standards that you don’t or can’t abide by. The Aussies play non compromising tough but fair test match cricket. Absolutely rediculous. More people should be calling them out.

England taking the high morale ground. The mounds full, the Aussie cricketers are already there.

Smoke and mirrors: England's contrived outrage can't help them avoid the facts

What statement….you’re talking about contact you saw.

Flem’s Verdict: Cummins shows true class on and off the field as England contradict their words with actions

You make a lot of comments that aren’t fact. That’s all we’ve all seen….but the only vision we have seen is from about 25 rows back. Both the Aussies & MCC members disgusted with the conduct have said there was physical contact.

Flem’s Verdict: Cummins shows true class on and off the field as England contradict their words with actions

Hahaha, really. You should get a gig with Broad & McCullum.

Flem’s Verdict: Cummins shows true class on and off the field as England contradict their words with actions

This rediculous hypocritical stance by England is a convenient smokescreen to hide behind the English losing & particular Baz Ball. It’s just getting worse for them. None of the respected players of England are saying anything……just the ones with history in MCCallum & Broad.

'Bloody oath I would': Head accuses bleating Bairstow of blatant hypocrisy over Ashes flashpoint

My point is there is no difference with a keeper up or back. That is something dreamt up to justify the whinging. And yes, should be interesting. The great sporting nation of Australia, whilst not always above reproach, do give the ailing English something to whinge about. Here’s hoping for another riveting test…..lost in all this tripe whinging is the real close games we have had & the really great contributions from Carey, Smith, Khawaja, Cummins, Root, Duckett, Stokes & Broad.

Stuart Broad has just given Pat Cummins a lecture on moral standards. The audacity is gobsmacking

Bazball lost the first 2 tests. I think England had the better of Australia & then let’s go Bazball crazy……oops we lost.

If you can’t be one, at least look like one.

Once again, if a spinner bowls the ball, it does something untoward of the pitch, the batsman shoulders arms, then takes of to have a look as the keeper takes the ball. Bails of, it’s out. Wasn’t trying to score a run. Just stumped. This is no different. I think Foakes did this recently against Ireland, even holding the ball waiting for the batsman to fall over.
