Agree. I don’t see either Jorgenson or Nawaqanitawase as being fullback material, especially as Nawaqanitawase is leaving art season’s end.Some decent 15s running around Shute Shield but if one opf these ios picked a highly paid player sits out. This won’t happen. Maybe Sualii net season.

And that is my big complaint. Referees are tryting to manage the game for the broadcasters rather than referee it. We’ve had a number trips this season. How many send offs? How many weeks suspension? Nil. Fines, yes. get rid of fines and suspend the culprits.
On high tackles, players are coached to go uper body so as not to allow any passes. Going high, one of the three or four tacklers is going to connect with the head. Get the coaches in line.

This used to be a penalty, players from the attacking team assisting the tackler (second tackle). Happens nearly every time a player is held up with players from both sides pushing the tackled player. Robbo only complaining because a try was scored. Remember another rule that is still on the books, anyone remember when a player was penalised foir a voluntary tackle in the NRL?

On the offside play, Annesley has come out and said he was. Should have been a penalty to the Titans. Then again, since the introduction of golden point, how often have we seen a penalty in a kickable position given, very rare. Referees need to get back to refereeing the game and not trying to manage it (for the broadcasters?).
On the six again, get rid of it. It’s a penalty and should be called as such.

I have no issues with his coming to rugby but at 28 his contract should be performance based.

Agree but a change I would like to see is that each state has one vote at RA. If NSW and Qld want something, they have the numbers to un it through regardless.

On games being managed, totally agree. Referees need to go back to refereeing the game and not trying to manage the game.

On then Rebels, a decision has to be made and made soon. To keep them or ditch them. There is too much uncertainty and negative reporting about what will happen. As well, what happens to the players if the Rebels go.
