One area that Ewen McKenzie will surely be looking to improve on is the kicking from his team. Going through the performance in Dublin,…
Australian rugby is in the doldrums. As evidence, you only need to look at the level of excitement generated by beating the 10th-ranked side…
I think there’s a simple solution, just make it a condition of immigration that rugby allegiances switch automatically.
Has anyone been to Bondi or Coogee lately? They are essentially exclaves of Auckland bro. We have more than enough New Zealanders in the country to wrestle back rugby dominance.
The insurmountable problem facing Australian rugby in a doomed rivalry with New Zealand
The Titans 😂 😂
Go for it mate 😂
Wallabies' young gun mulling NRL switch as Rebels' future continues to cloud picture
Good luck to the guy, and I totally understand professional players these days needing to maximise their earnings while they are able.
But take me back to the days when being a Wallaby was the pinnacle, and heading overseas was really only considered if you were no chance of wearing the gold jersey..

The World Number 3 are going to beat the World Number 9.
Cutting edge stuff.
Super Rugby shows that the Bledisloe Cup isn't going anywhere - one selection could give the Wallabies hope
Looked like a damned good hit to me.
'Purely coincidental': Chiefs coach defends bruiser after ANOTHER late shot leaves Tah flattened - but was it legal?
“Be allowed to save the Rebels”
They’re the people that got the Rebels into bother in the first place.
What a strange old world.
UPDATE: RA say they were blindsided over Rebels' finances, reject private consortium claim as administrator backs club's survival
KPM what is your plan for making the Rebels profitable again?
UPDATE: RA say they were blindsided over Rebels' finances, reject private consortium claim as administrator backs club's survival
Right, so the Directors oversaw the franchise becoming a financial basket case and now they’ve ’generously’ offered to repay creditors, as part of an “Investor Group” 15 to 30 cents in the dollar to regain control of the franchise. Oh yeah, and they’d like a get out of jail free card for their serious directorial failings.
Am I reading this all wrong?

Noah’s a lightweight, pure and simple. He’s not up for the big boy stuff. Even with Carter Gordon’s kicking woes, I’d pick Gordon for the Wallabies in a heartbeat. He’s got mongrel dog in him.
Brumbies 'systematically taken apart by the Blues' in 'non-contest' as Larkham's men cop huge reality check
Got the shingles real bad senior year, nearly didn’t graduate

The Tahs or Force catching them.
Is that really the yardstick?

So the Drua player received a smaller ban because..

Let’s not get too excited. We conceded 40 points to the team running second last ahead of the Force 😁

Anyone who calls themself the boss. OMG I’m cringing for him.
Especially when it’s at Augusta, where Norman was responsible for the chokiest choke in all of chokedom.

Super Rugby teams round 8: Tahs drop Marky Mark, Kellaway returns for Rebels, HMP replaces Lynagh
Im a big fan of Carter Gordon’s starch but sadly his kicking is not even Super Rugby standard.
On the flip side, Lolesio is a sharpshooter and that is highly valuable but does not dominate contact and weakens the 10 channel.
The only way of resolving this is selecting someone who can kick. You can’t fix the Lolesio issue.
I would therefore select Lonergan who is in the conversation anyway based on his form as a halfback.
I hope Schmidt feels the same.
Five things we learned: One area Gordon must fix to convince Wallabies boss, ABs bruiser should be on notice
If they’re getting the police involved then Lomani needs to answer some questions too. Seriously, that wasn’t rugby. That was straight up assault. I can’t believe how much focus is on a bunch of words from one boofhead (sticks and stones), rather than an act of violence that caused a serious head wound on a player. Where is all the outrage over that?
Drua 'shocked at racial abuse' as Lomani faces judiciary over Canham blow
Very disappointing.
I would have thought Jamie Soward, Josh Dugan or even Beau Ryan would have been more sensible choices for scrum coach than Cron.
At least that’s what my 2023 manual says.
'It can be something great': Schmidt turns to 'scrum doctor' as next step in Wallabies rebuild
At what point do we say, hey, this is a contact sport. Play at your own risk.
In the words of the sage and erudite Peter De Villiers, “why don’t we go to the nearest ballet shop, get some tutus and get a dancing shop going”
What’s next? Boxing where they can only hit people in the shoulders? MMA where nasty words are ok but making someone bleed results in a judiciary hearing?
I’m being facetious, but you can only sanitise a contact sport to a certain level is my point.
There are only two ways rugby can go from here - and there's no middle ground between physicality and safety
Wonder what Potgeiter is up to?

And if you’re going to play the age card mate, by the same logic, Joe Biden is Einstein. LOL.
Fair comment not coming from unfair commentators whining about rules they should know off by heart
The climate hasn’t changed..?
The 10 hottest years on record have been in the past 10 years. What’s that, random chance?
Fair comment not coming from unfair commentators whining about rules they should know off by heart
In general I’m sceptical about people’s motives to litigate, especially for physical consequences of playing a heavy contact sport.
But being told not to drink water during a running session? Certainly want to hear more about that..
