I really can’t see the Bulldogs losing this GF. They have that 2016 aura about them again only this time that have a better list. I fear for Melbourne and their supporters though… suicide watch on the Bolte afterwards

'Another Cinderella story about to happen': History says Melbourne are due to deliver

Very true Sminsxka… People seem to be forgetting that the Cats were only in front of the Bulldogs after the final siren and there are a couple of very relevant points regarding their win after the siren:
1: The Cats were at full strength whilst the Bulldogs had elite talent sitting out the game – this elite talent will return before finals.
2: The game was played at Geelong’s home ground and the Cats are at least a 4 goal better team there – no finals will be played at Geelong.

So whilst the Cats won that game I can’t see anything other than the Bulldogs dominating them if they meet in the finals.

The 2021 AFL flag is down to just six contenders

No, he’s definitely in the conversation.
Leading the league’s most miserly defence and he rarely gets beaten.

Nothing more to say about the Doggies game on the weekend when they lost their full-back for 4 weeks?!! Yes Weightman’s mark was sensational but losing potential All-Australian Alex Keath to a hammy could be decisive in their finals fortunes. If not that then the story of the game is the much maligned full-forward, Josh Schache, getting something of a rebirth as a key back – ala Liam Jones.
I also can’t see the Cats troubling the Bulldogs too much in the finals as last time they played they were only in front after the siren and it was played at Geelong where they enjoy the most distinctive home ground advantage in the league and are at least a 4 goal better team.
