Bulldogs had 7 out including 5 props & had to get permission for Tanner to be the 18th man. So both sides were affected y injuries.

ANALYSIS: Storm boys all at sea as the Bulldogs stun Bellamy's side showing 'lack of effort' in major boilover

I remember them all. By the way it was Terry Leabeater not Leadbeater. Good prop forward who came from Wests. Troy Clarke had some shockers which is why he went by the by. Greg Barwick was a very good player & goal kicker & I was upset when he left. Darren Brown got MOTM in his first game against the Dogs after he left. The Dogs bought Danny Williams who Beetson said was going to be a star as compensation for losing WIllie Mason. James Pickering was a great prop but unfortunately was injury prone. Grant Millington came over in the disastrous 2008 SOB Williams year. Shane Perry was ordinary at the time but appeared to mature in the QRL (late bloomer?) David Boyd was lucky not to get sent off in 1986 GF. Canterbury did try to keep Scott Hill but were unsuccessful. Damien Cook was a De Hasler masterstroke. He bought a running hooker in Lichaa & turned him into a tackling machine which failed. Lett, Green & Mellor were fringe first graders only. Glenn Hall was wanted nut we had several of his standard & he was offered more money to go elsewhere so he became a journeyman.

The forgotten players: Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs

I don’t think the answer is more interchanges, rather get rid of that intolerable set re-start rule. Getting rid of it will reduce the blowouts too. I know many people who have switched off the game because of it. The referees are also not being even handed to both teams & fans don’t know what half of them are for. It’s become a mess.

Get rid of the rule but make sure the wrestle is clamped down on otherwise it will only be PVL left watching the game.

The NRL's current injury toll is becoming intolerable

So what will happen if a vaccine hesitant player takes the vaccine & gets seriously injured or even dies from the vaccination? According to the USA CDC website thousands have died & over 500,000 have had serious side affects.

This is a vaccine that still hasn’t been allowed past emergency use yet, meaning it is still being tested – on the general community.

The inventor of the MRNA test has said that all vaccines must stop because they are causing the variants. There is a lot of conflicting information out there & the advice from experts not politically aligned is that it is dangerous.

I thought testing people with substances not fully approved was banned after Nuremberg except when taken voluntarily.

COVID has a survivability rate of over 99% & even more if anti-virals are given early.

'I will protect your right to be an idiot': NRL players must be free to be unvaccinated

Brett Dallas definitely should be one winger & beat Nagas for the Australia wing spot many times & played 10 origins including being one of the youngest ever.

PS I hope he gets over his current issues. It’s sad to see him like this.

Rugby league rookie cup: The class of 1992

Bench: Jarrod McCracken, Jonathan Davies, Steve Reardon? Could argue that Davies an international could be fullback.

Rugby league rookie cup: The class of 1991

McGrady only played 5 games at 5/8, so he should be half back instead of average Jason Taylor. Matt Ryan on the wing instead of Ainscough. Mitch Newton instead of either Walker or Dooley at prop & Barry Ward instead of Doherty on the bench & that’s just after long at Bulldogs who debuted that year.

Rugby league rookie cup: The class of 1990

The NRL should have a site like this up & running! The AFL have their site which shows every game in it’s history, why is the NRL so pathetic?

These guys are creating rugby league history
