It will be a huge week next week in WA, the build up to the grand final sure to be huge and all anyone will be talking about across the state. Purple will be everywhere and the fans will soak it up, dreaming the dream of premiership glory. The Dockers showed tonight that they have the game to win the greatest prize in football. They also have a man at the helm who has been there before and will know how to prepare his troops in the lead-up to the biggest game in their careers.
Sydney were simply outclassed tonight, and I don’t say that lightly – they are a great side but the Dockers simply dominated them. Perhaps injuries did finally take their toll for the Swans, but take nothing away from that performance from Freo. They were brilliant.

Freo fans are going crazy as the Dockers pull off a fantastic win and head to their first ever grand final. They dominated Sydney when it counted and completely outplayed the reigning premiers, especially in their attack on the ball and pressure on the ball carrier. Sydney played a better game in the second half but the job had already been done and the Dockers took the foot off the pedal to conserve energy for next week.
