Kurtley has more lives than a cat it seems.
Do you know if he’s contracted to the Tahs this season ?

Wallabies, Wallaroos fixtures CONFIRMED as Schmidt eyes 'fantastic turnaround challenge' against RWC rivals

It had to happen eventually.

RWC heartache, Eddie and what's next: In demand young gun delivers biggest clue yet on future

They’re producing too many good players from their pathways to cut them. But what do I know.

Anthony Piccone must be feeling giddy. No one loves to cash in on home produced talent like that creep

Agreed. And they should be scheduled in April when it isn’t scorching hot

'Want to show rugby isn't dead in Melbourne': Rebels skipper's fighting words as Eddie calls for 'hard decisions'

Young kids do like full stadiums. It’s not the same atmosphere when 1/2 of a 50k stadium is shut down and 8-10,000 shuffle in for a spectacle which hasn’t even been advertised

'Want to show rugby isn't dead in Melbourne': Rebels skipper's fighting words as Eddie calls for 'hard decisions'

That is the same all over the east coast. I find out about matches sometimes one or two days before by word of mouth because there is zero advertising. I hope they do better when the lions come because it’s been as bad as this for several years

I apologise Andy. Have reread your post which I misinterpreted.

Rugby Australia is back where they hoped they would never return - and their next move could make or break the game

Absolute Bull$hit AndyS.

Foxtel, Ten and BSkyB in 2015 agreed to pay $285 million over five years to Rugby Australia, a 148% increase on the previous deal.

However, reports indicated in 2019 that the bidding was only in the mid $30 million range, well below the average $57 million a year of the previous deal.

Very happy that Sinner won but also applaud Med’s gracious speech. It wouldn’t be easy never having the crowd onside during a tournament as any Russian would attest to. In the critical points of the last three sets Sinner came up with the more defining ground strokes. Can’t wait to see him take on Alcarez in Roland Garros.

Almost every England Captain has it when the Ashes is played in Australia. They practically invented that expression

I’ve never had a problem with changing the date either but no one has even proposed a new/more appropriate date.
I don’t suppose that registered in my earlier post, such was your haste to sermonise.

Great rips into Smith's opener technique as Aussies crumble, Aus Day protest leads to pitch invader and Gabba lockout

That’s very naive to assume all of the protestors were simply there for a change of holiday. You need to watch the news. Large crowds with ‘Give our Land Back’ banners marching with large numbers of ‘Free Palestine’ supporters.

One thing I do like about the 2-day result, minefield pitches in India, is if a batsman stands against all of those odds. That’s an innings which will go down in history. Like a ‘coming of age’ innings for a great batsman

'Where is your Bazball?': Fans sledge England as bubble bursts with India dishing out taste of their own medicine

I agree but think many of those protesting have dubious or even nefarious intentions.
Don’t try to tear something down without providing a solution. If the date is wrong, then a new date should be proposed with solid reasoning. The far left setting everything on fire just chases those in the middle to the right. That’s how you create a Donald Trump.

It certainly is if India is touring. The BCCI have won back to back series down under rolling over the pathetic CA in refusing to play the first test there. CA need to understand if you take heartland support and home ground advantage for granted you will lose it. Just look at Rugby Union in Australia.

It’s started. This is just the beginning.

Rebels told they will play Super Rugby in 2024 but future on shaky ground as voluntary administration looms

Yep. Isaac Henry instead of Paisami & Vest starting

The fact he peaked over 12 years ago didn’t help him either.

It’s shadier than you think Ed. Moore, Mowen and Pocock were also QLDers.
Moore was born in Saudi Arabia and Pocock in Zimbabwe, so you can’t rule out sleeper influence operations deployed by Mugabe and a few dodgy Sheiks

Very likely. I remember watching him in one of his first games against the Highlanders (Rd 1, 2019?). He was simply amazing and the kiwi commentators were all over him. Blistering attack and punishing tackles. I thought he would be one of the Greats but have never seen him get back to that level since the injuries started (in the very next match).

Rugby News: Petaia weighs up NRL, NFL options as Reds contract winds down, All Black confirms 'f--kwit' sledge

I agree with you on this r.e Petaia, particularly given his injury struggles.
My first thoughts on seeing this headline though is what it will mean for the number of Super Clubs after the current broadcast deal runs out.
Players getting sick & tired of playing for losing teams or switching codes out of admiration (rather than $)

Porecki comes across as a decent lad and I rate his consistency at Super level but as a test player..

'Whatever was best for the team': The accidental Wallabies captain who gave RA 'everything' for post-RWC review

It suggesting someone could have done it better than Deans in that first 3 years crumbfingers but ensuring there is perspective around his overall reign. Many Deans fanatics like to frame his tenure as overachieving with the Wallabies (ranking up around 2-3). My argument is you can’t compare the players from 2009-2011 with post 2012.
I also think Deans struggled dealing with players who weren’t bleeding for the jersey like he was used to in New Zealand. You didn’t have Dan Carter or Richie McCaw’s agents holding the code to ransom during contract negotiations. Nor did you have them spouting about their brand or going to Burger King at 3am before a massive test match.

'We'll sack him and be in the same position': Ex-Wallaby condemns Larkham snub as Schmidt deal CONFIRMED

The Wallabies are bloody lucky to have him IMO.
After the last World Cup I thought RA’s ability to draw a top tier contender, let alone a NZer would be shot. Along with Ronan O’Gara I think Phil Waugh and co have done very well securing his services. Hopefully McKeller goes well at Leicester and becomes a worthy successor.
