Scott, you as others are entitled to your opinion. And yes new coach and the loss of some star players does create some uncertainty for the 2019 season for the Sharks.

But I will point out the Sharks still have one of the best prop rotations in the NRL. They boast playmaking talent in Johnson, Townsend, Moylan & Kyle Flanagan. They still have a lot of experience in the backs.

But the biggest strength is the young talent coming through the Club with the Sharks featuring in both Jersey Flegg (Premiers) & Intrust State Cup (Grand Finalist). This is where Shark supporters are most confident with the turnover of talent that has occurred this season that a lot of highly regarded youngsters take there place and will surprise a lot of people this season. Bronson Xerri is one of the most exciting backline players to come out of grade since Val Holmes. If anyone wants to see a glimpse of his talent take a look at the highlights from last weeks trial against Manly where he he had 1 try assist and a try with blistering speed.

I’m not saying they are certainties for the top 4 this season but I’d be shocked if they are not in the 8 by the end of the season.
