That’s been my point for the past couple of years. Folau is a wing playing at fullback. Your fullback needs to be a playmaker, not just a ball runner. He’s a finisher not a creator, to be the best fullback he needs to do both.
Folau has such great running stats because he doesn’t know how to kick or put another player into space.
The best fullback in the world is Ben Smith, he can do every aspect of a fullbacks role at the highest level.

At no point was Quade Cooper’s Maori heritage brought up by either the boo-ers or the Quade camp.
At no point was Quade Cooper racially vilified by those booing him.
At no point was a boo-er ejected from a game for racially taunting him and or over heard racially taunting him.
At no point since Quade Cooper was booed had his Maori heritage been a focal point.
The boo-ers, the non boo-ers and the Quade camp knew exactly why Quade was being targeted and it was not because of his race. Everyone just had differing opinions whether there was anything wrong with his actions and or if the retaliations were justified.
Adam Goodes’s Aboriginal heritage has been brought up by both the boo-ers and Goodes’s camp.
Adam Goodes was racially vilified by those booing him.
A boo-er has been ejected from a game for racially taunting him or being overheard racially taunting him (multiple actually).

The persistent booing of Quade Cooper started after his many unsportsmanlike brush ins with the All Blacks captain and his own taunt to the NZ rugby public saying to ‘bring it on, I don’t care’ . After that everyone else jumped on the bandwagon.
The persistent booing of Adam Goodes started when he called out someone in the crowd for throwing racist remarks at him. It then intensified after he did his Aboriginal war dance celebration. After that everyone else jumped on the bandwagon.
That’s not to say that New Zealand doesn’t have racial problems in sports. In fact some distressing stories from just last week has shone a light on just how bad the problem is. But I will say that the Quade Cooper booing wasn’t the same thing.
And before you guys chime with ‘one eyed Kiwi ‘retorts I’ll just let you know that I am just as much an Australian as any of you while also being a New Zealander with Maori heritage.
