Regards to the Crusaders i was happy with last year not disappointed at all ok we should have won the final but thats rugby, i agree they were pretty one dimentional in the back but that will change this year. I would love to see carter at 2nd 5 with slade at 10 who imo was the form 10 of last year… I’d have the king at 6 with Todd at 7 who imo is the most unluckiest player ever, he is all class and will be an all black next year once the king retires..
Once again the forwards are gonna be real strong again and should dominate most teams this year…
That elusive title will be ours this year the year of the red n blacks sprinkled with a back to back WC 🙂

I think slade is a must now if he can stay injury free, we need his kicking game so to me cruden could well be the unlucky bloke who misses out as he can only play 10 you have to think they will take three first fives.
I’m quite concerned with our halfback depth Peranara just does not do it for me so in saying that i think we need to take Ellis at least he is solid and has vast experience… Dagg i think form wise may also be unlucky he has a great boot but for me his defense is not what it use to be, so i’d have smith at 15 with barrett on the bench as cover for 5’8 and 10..

Both teams have plenty to play for , the Wallabies need this as much as the English both teams in a slump. The Twickers fortress shows serious signs of cracking.. The Wallabies need to gain some sort of traction, if they can win this game by a good score it will do wonders for the team. Being in the pool of death together the psyche edge is hugely important.

If you have Beale in the team it makes sense to put him at 15, and move izzy wide, i’ve even heard suggestions of izzy being put in the centers which would make sense with the big guy injured

Rankings have just been released and The Wallabies are at their lowest since the rankings were established poor boys have dropped to fifth, with a game against the poms next week i’m not too sure if they can drop further… I for one hope Cheika gets this team right, 6 games to go before the world cup not much time to mess around with combinations and the like…
As a kiwi its imperative having a strong wallaby team to play against, even if OZ don’t make it out of their pool next WC Cheika has to keep the top job regardless, the team needs stability

I totally agree with what you said Magic, SBW is a good player but i don’t think he has anything on Nonu at the moment, ive just looked into my crystal ball and the pairing centers for the All blacks in the world cup final next year are Nonu and Smith with SBW on the bench……
Nonu and Smith are the best center pairing the Darkness have ever had IMO Hanson will not change it, its a pairing which delivers the goods, im shocked at the disrespect shown to Nonu by some of the roarers, the man has got better and better and now with SBW pushing for a spot i expect Nonu to get even better

I feel for you Aussies right now, it must be hard seeing all this rubbish at the moment, but chin up lads it can’t get any worse can it?

So Cheika will also be coaching the tahs next season how does it make you Queenslanders feel? Will you now unite under him or wiith him still coaching the tahs will there be animosity because he may well pick a heap of tah players as he knows how they play etc etc? Saying that he will probably pick the best players in their positions regardless of which team they play for… He seems the sort of lad who will do everything for the team….
Is it in the wallabies best interest that he coach the tahs next year as its a WC year surly you would want to put all of your time into getting ready for the event

Must have been heartbreaking the end but you guys will be better for it in the future, if you guys can sort out your forwards wallabies will be hard to beat, also get rid of hooper maybe play him in the backs because he def is not a number 7 without a real 7 you guys lack someone who can clean out which means a higher workload for the other 7 forwards

As i was reading this i was thinking to myself is this a tongue in cheek article but it turns out its a serious one, i’ll put my two cents worth in.
If Australia leaves sanzar Australian rugby will die, there is no two ways about it.. The wallabies with fall further down the rankings because they won’t play against the best players in the world week in week out.
Ask yourself this do you want Australia to be a tier2 team? Thats what will happen, what makes you think you have the players in oz to have a top flight competition which you will definatly will not have because there will be no money to keep them in oz, so who will go to these games without any marquee players… And where will the sponsorship come from?
Whether you like it or not Australia is stuck with SANZAR
