I agree with why the rule was created but don’t you think it seems weird to replace a bad keeper with a good keeper, then the much better batter comes out promoted and appears to be unaffected by pain and almost scores a 100?

I’m not sure India were any better in this test. I didn’t have a problem with anything that occurred, although Pant batting at 5 seemed odd after resting for an innings. I suspect that rule may change as a result.

His approach strangely seems to work on slow, low, pitches too. I honestly think it’s boredom that gets most his wickets as the guy can bowl really long spells of nothing but short deliveries with a stacked legside field.
