They may have played the Nelson Football club estab. May 30, 1868 which within 2 years became the Nelson Rugby Football club.

The Wrap: Blues still must prove they can stand up when it counts, Brumbies' target exposed

At 24 Burke will be a massive loss to the Crusaders.

Comparing him to Richie Mounga, Mehrtens and Carter is silly.

Remember, he has been out with a very serious injury and has only had 2 starts this season.

He is already better than Tom Taylor and will comfortably surpass the quality of Slade.

Thats why the English are paying $1 mil per year.

The Crusaders will regret this one for a long time.

The Wrap: Is Australian rugby about to throw a whole heap of valuable coaching IP out the window?

Under pressure Crusaders to beat the second best club team in the world this week huh Harry?

The reporter was goading him and Penny’s description was spot on.
Nobody watches TVNZ these days in Christchurch because we can’t understand half the content which is spoken in Maori.

'He's a disgrace': Coach drops c-bomb at journo after prickly press conference, leaving CEO to clean up his mess

JD – it’s great that you can remember back that far when the cheats actually won the thing.
For us Crusaders fans we can just sit back and watch any other team beat your mob when they again choke in the finals and then watch Clayton have another pussy meltdown.

Super Rugby Rd 12 teams: JOC and Tate return, Tahs let Pone off leash, Crusaders welcome back All Blacks duo

It’s not a disaster that has caused this but a big fat english ceque book re Fergus Burke.

Super Rugby Rd 12 teams: JOC and Tate return, Tahs let Pone off leash, Crusaders welcome back All Blacks duo

The Crusaders have drawn Nic Berry for the 3rd time this year.
Hopefully they have learned something about his officiating by now…
I guess I should be grateful Pickerill isn’t available.

Super Rugby teams round 8: Tahs drop Marky Mark, Kellaway returns for Rebels, HMP replaces Lynagh

If NZ keep losing players of the calibre of Fergus Burke they will be well and truly in the shit.

It won’t be long before a Giteau rule is brought in.
Make it 55 tests so Mo’unga can qualify – just to piss Jacko off.

Razor's pursuit of 'hard bastard' Sam Whitelock reveals the ugly truth about the modern All Blacks

Crusaders need to go back to the basics.
They still have a formidable pack and that needs to be where it all starts.
Watching the hooker throw like my grandmother yesterday twice from 5m lineouts potentially cost them 14 points.
On other occasions they opted against the lineout and opted for points because they feared the throw in!
Get the simple things right. Yes humidity was a problem but the execution skills ( or lack of them) was of schoolboy standard.
Truck it up the middle phase after phase and set a bloody platform.
A woeful watch but surely can’t be repeated – just a dreadful lack of skills.
Fergus Burke is a massive loss and he can’t get back quick enough but it’s going to be a slow grind to edge into the quarters but I reckon they might just do it.

Scott Robertson did but can Penney turn the Crusaders' trainwreck season around?

PS – How stupid are the people in Dunkley? 😂

'No one backed us': $8 outsiders Waratahs upset Crusaders AGAIN as Edmed steps up to deliver famous win

Completely smashed us NSW!
Headline 100% justified.
Congratulations!
As a crusaders fan I won’t put the boot in too early but wow this felt like a throwback to Blackadder days of clueless coast to coast nothingness.

'No one backed us': $8 outsiders Waratahs upset Crusaders AGAIN as Edmed steps up to deliver famous win

Let’s hope McMillan has got over his dummy spit after the final last year.

Prediction: Chiefs to top the ladder, their fans to be even more unbearable than usual (see Jacko) and then choke again.

The biggest hurdle standing in Chiefs' way to claiming first Super Rugby title since Dave Rennie's side a decade ago

Invest in a decent front row and then move onto the second row and so on.

Winger is about the last place to be spending dough right now, alas it’s too late to blow this deal up or they’ll look like bigger numpties than they already are.

Foster can’t coach rugby in English – would be bloody hilarious watching him attempt to do it in French.

Rugby News: 'I'd feel like a traitor' - Eddie says he'd reject prestige job, reveals surprise Japan 'stumbling block' as SBW goes WHACK

Wayne Barnes was frozen with fear in 2007 and predominately this was due to being inexperienced.

McCaw was spot on.

Barnes needs to be reminded that he when he speaks about Richie McCaw he is undoubtedly speaking about one of the greatest players and ambassadors the game has and will ever have.

Remember when referees used to be invisible and that’s how you knew they were outstanding.
Barnes is neither and he needs to stop being a human headline.

I can’t cancel Stan yet as my missus wants to watch Yellowstone when it returns.

'I am a better coach': Eddie's head-turning take, says several teams keen on him despite Wallabies flop

Clearly he is going to Japan and has been for months.
The problem being that the ridiculously named brave blossoms are many rugby supporters second or third favourite team.
Now many of us will be hoping they get continually smashed.
How’s that a good thing?

He really is a tool.

'Load of rubbish': Eddie tees off on 'red herring' excuse for Wallabies' RWC flop, rejects Hoops issue, Lions link

No more Kiwis please.
As a NZ living in Sydney its unbearable for us.
Deans, Penney, Rennie – fix your own dross and leave us out of it.

'So many s--t emotions:' Distraught Cane says he'll have to live with red card pain 'forever', Foz questions Kolisi escape

Who needs a ref when the TMO intervenes every 5 minutes.
Like cricket umpires now – shot scared to actually make any decisions – Barnes was weak as piss and it carried on right up to the second last scrum when NZ should have received a free kick because the jappies failed to engage.

The refereeing all became pathetic when Rassie abused the Aussie ref during the lions tour.
Fair play it worked and they’ve had the rub of the green ever since – just ask the frogs!

de Groot gets a whack to the nose with no sanction.
The AB players just needed to be smarter and milk it like the Jappies.
The Frizzel yellow was pathetic and not upgraded apparently because it was deemed accidental – why yellow then TMO if accidental?
Also why wasn’t the Saffa sent for an HIA after the Cane debacle – maybe cos he wasn’t hurt?
Best team won because NZ made too many amateurish errors but the officiating was weak as piss.
