“Ussie is being told that he can’t protest because he’s Muslim and calling for peace” pure speculation and opinion on your behalf.
And is that not the exact issue with what Usman intended to do; it is a heated topic that may be inflammatory. Why politicise cricket when we can all just enjoy it as a game? There are so many other venues for political debate.

'Double standards': Khawaja savages ICC hypocrisy in Instagram post as Cummins defends 'pretty vanilla' protest

@ColinT you seem obsessed with religion. Yet, what does the story have to do with religion?

@ColinT what relevancy does Judaism have to this story? Why are you bringing this up?

For the report recommendations (Harrison etc can copy/paste):
1) Fire the RA board.
2) Hire from the NRL board and/or Panthers board (they have a winning culture) and Broncos board (they know how to turnaround from losing).

Ex-Wallabies and high-performance expert named to review World Cup shocker

Yes, the wise words of disco shows the way in these dark times … to the RA board “everybody move your body” out the door (credit to ‘Let’s all chant’ by Michael Zager Band).

The Wallabies' World Cup campaign was a disaster from start to finish - but sacking Eddie Jones isn't the answer

@Bluesfan, you say/imply that Rassie ‘set off’ something that resulted in Pollie Barnes being threatened. I’ve seen many comments on this site and many other sites that are far more personal against refs than Rassie ever said. Are these commenters then also responsible for the threats? You mention that Rassie is a ‘disgrace’; what is it exactly that he has said that makes you say this? Are your comments against Rassie any better than what Rassie said in his videos (from watching the videos I don’t recall Rassie ever making negative personal comments against anyone).

Refs have become too famous to the game's detriment - they should be more respected but less well known

Interesting article. For mine, the many opinions on whether Rassie did wrong, the role of referees etc. are all symptoms of a primary cause; rules. Simplify rules and enforce those rules consistently (easier said than done) and Rassie won’t need to release videos, there won’t be morons threatening innocent people etc.

Why was Hooper not questioning the ref about Hill niggling Swain (thus avoiding the escalation to Swain retaliating)? Surely Hooper should have stood up for his players? I noticed Kolisi in the South Africa game strongly supporting his players to the ref.

Leadership is the issue for me. Hoops is clearly a great motivator and influence within the group and is a terrific player however he seems to be giving so much as a player there doesn’t seem to be much left for on field captaincy. It seems that because he is captain and the best player, other players become complacent and perhaps, knowing that he can do no wrong, don’t try as hard as they should.
Great teams have multiple great leaders and the ‘usual captain’ doesn’t need to be the best player (think Kolisi). I think Aus need to identify and nurture multiple captains and leaders and get away from a single captain model. Leave Hoops to play and be a leader but remove the single team captain model.

WILL GENIA: 'I don't get the Hoops hate - he goes balls out for 80 minutes every time'

Agree; The Sharks have shown in recent weeks the value of big and fit loose forwards. Even Hooper noted in the after game interview how the ‘Tahs were smashed by The Sharks loose forwards.

The Wallabies’ plan for the World Cup

I’m surprised how little is noted that Hooper, whilst a great player, can’t seem to motivate the teams he leads. Perhaps there aren’t better captaincy choices for the Wallabies?
