I've had the pleasure to meet some of England's most legendary rugby players, Lawrence Dallaglio, Jason Leonard, Jason Robinson etc... I love them all! My most memorable match was the World Cup Final in Paris in 2007, England v South Africa. It was a shocking game and we lost - but I was there, and the atmosphere was amazing! My favourite quote: "What contemptible scoundrel stole the cork from my lunch?" (WC Fields)

Sounds like a good move to me – more competition in the tournament should drive higher quality rugby, surely?

BREAKING: Japan and Argentina to join Super Rugby in 2016

Hi Brent,
Who would be your tip for a sneaky place look?
I.e. who do you think might run high but not necessarily jump into the top spot?
Cheers, Jono

Melbourne Cup 2014: Q and A with Brent Ford

Felix,
Just wanted to say that, given I’m someone who knows pretty much b*gger all about Cycling, I thoroughly enjoyed this article, thank you: extremely well-written, hugely informative and very interesting. Thanks mate.

2015 Tour de France route: Cobblestones and mountains galore

Clearly an absolutely amazing athlete.

Having personally attended a couple of Ironman races myself (purely as a spectator, I might add), I can honestly say “oh, my gosh” to anyone who does this – well done Miranda!

Is Mirinda Carfrae the best athlete nobody has ever heard of?

I love this! What will they think of next?!

The Roar's weird sport series: Black light sports

Hi Aussie Lady, as per comment to Ned above, I invite you to check out the pieces written on this very site by LFL player Anna Heasman, which flies in the face of your above point.
You can find them by conducting a site-search for LFL.
Keen to hear your subsequent thoughts thereafter.

Reports LFL Australia has been canned after just one season

Hey Ned,

Nice article, well put.

I would like to point out though that The Roar’s had a few articles written by bona-fide LFL player Anna Heasman in the past (just do a site search for her, or for LFL for that matter, and they’ll pop up) – which seem to suggest that LFL *is* actually a real sport, played by extremely competitive and hard-training professionals, and one which commands respect.

Check them out, please, as I’d be very keen to hear your subsequent thoughts thereafter.

Cheers mate,

Really liking the Ref Cam…

But think the sponsors have a right to complain about the appalling quality of their on-pitch logos: That Fox Sports logo behind the Goal is completely illegible… Get it right, people!
