I was more a back seat of the Falcon type guy in my very much younger days – not in Sonny Bills league

'We didn't get it right': NZR apologise for All Blacks' 'tone deaf' IWD post featuring Reece and Smith

What is the issue with Smith – he had consensual sex with a women in a toilet – gee i wasn’t aware that was a crime

When did RA go bankrupt – morally bankrupt maybe but they still seem to be operating.
Most reports also seem to suggest that insurance settled, given what RA was going to pay Folau my guess would be it came out even.

Castle certain Folau sacking was right call but admits she would 'do some things differently'

Free speech has always come at a price, we also have many laws which counter act free speech, you cant have hate speech or vilify people based on specific criteria.
Its interesting how those who support someone’s right to free speech then complain when someone else uses there free speech to disagree.

Castle certain Folau sacking was right call but admits she would 'do some things differently'

I support Folau to voice his opinion,
I support RA and its sponsors to react in anyway that they deem appropriate,
I support myself to disagree with Folau while still thinking he was a very good rugby player with also so some big holes in his game.

The corporate world has gone woke because the woke make the most noise via social media while the majority just get on with there lives.

Ban political parties would be a good place to start – as soon as they join a party it becomes about what the party wants and very little about the people they are meant to serve.
Approximately
Labour Party 60,000 members
Liberal Party 50,000 members
16 million registered voters
Democracy is the best we have but is failing worldwide.

only 10 All Blacks

Ten All Blacks and zero Wallabies - although one came close - named in fan-picked all-time rugby XV

I liked Jacobson at 8 – I think he just needed more time to make the position his own

Dispelling the myth that the All Blacks struggle against the rush defence

Depends if Australia can put there best players on the park for the AB games next year.
It may take losing the Bledisloe for NZ Admin to wake up that Foster is not the coach to win a World Cup

End of an aura: Critics target Foster and 'an empire that's gone soft' after All Blacks 'lose fear factor'

Agree – I really enjoyed both the Ireland and French games – just did not like the score or the way the ABs played or were allowed to play.
Credit to both teams for bringing the game to us with great control and skills.
I sort of hope these teams can continue as it will make for an excellent WC in 2 years times.

End of an aura: Critics target Foster and 'an empire that's gone soft' after All Blacks 'lose fear factor'

I think the big issue for the ABs is reliance on to much flash and not enough bash, we have forgotten to win the battle of the forwards first – to watch the ABs being dominated in the forwards 2 weeks in row is massively disappointing, its also then pretty obvious as to why are backline has no momentum as a platform is not being provided for them – forwards win matches, backs by how much is a basic fundamental that has never changed – ABs forwards are not winning matches or even getting parity.

End of an aura: Critics target Foster and 'an empire that's gone soft' after All Blacks 'lose fear factor'

AB fans generally focus on ABs, yes we acknowledge that Ireland and France were better and out played us but focusing on the oppositions other than for the game tactics does not make the ABs better, focusing on oneself makes one better.

End of an aura: Critics target Foster and 'an empire that's gone soft' after All Blacks 'lose fear factor'

Its baffling because its an excuse without merit – everybody is Covid affected for schedule, players etc – our record for the year and more importantly the way we have played is not reason to hold our head high.
an also since when do we ever compare our record to anybody else – ABs are only comparable to the ABs that have gone before them – no AB fan cares how other countries went for the season.

End of an aura: Critics target Foster and 'an empire that's gone soft' after All Blacks 'lose fear factor'

I think the saddest bit of this saga is the forgotten respect and sportsmanship of which the game has usually been played – you cant have a game at any level without a ref and if this behaviour ever became acceptable it would be the quickest demise of our loved game – why would anyone be a ref if this is what you can expect.
In the age of social media we are fast becoming a very bullying abusive culture with little ramifications for our actions.

ANALYSIS: How and why World Rugby's panel reached its verdict in the Erasmus case

The biggest problem for Aus rugby is not the players, its coaches and trainers
How many times do we hear the national coach complain that players are not fit enough when they get them, yet this generally well into the season.
How may Aus players go overseas and improve dramatically – learn there craft etc
Aus needs serious investment in coaches and a national plan for players skills that there SR team coaches are working to implement.

Blackadder is listed at 1.9m and 111kg so not that small – he brings plenty of dog to the fight

What a balanced All Black loose forward trio can deliver

I would like to to see Jordie Barrett at 12 – he is big, can kick, can play first receiver

'His stock is rising': Christie, Tupaea outstanding as All Blacks crack century against USA

I think they get an opportunity to refresh both body and mind and also learn some new tricks from some really experienced players.
I also think one of the biggest issue for Aus rugby is not the players but a lack of world class coaches which Aus players also get exposed to when in Japan or Europe
Simon Cron coach and Steve Hansen as Director of Rugby at Toyota Verblitz
Hooper having been in the same systems for NSW rugby and playing under Cheika for so long must have been quite a change for him.

Will there be two sets of slippers under the table at number 10?

This shows some of the value players are getting from Japan, mixing with players they would only generally play against, this can only be good for rugby in general.

Will there be two sets of slippers under the table at number 10?

I think they are a very exciting bunch of players, we had it so good for so long with McCaw, Read and Kaino.
If we can get just the right combination from the 5 or 6 possible options we will be in a good position for next couple World Cups

The Wrap: Tense, gripping clash of styles falls the All Blacks' way

I think Ardie is there only because Cane is injured and the rest of the loosies have minimal caps between them so he at least brings some experience.

The Wrap: Tense, gripping clash of styles falls the All Blacks' way

The high expectation is one of the ingredients that make the ABs as good as they are.
happy for the win, not happy for how we won.

The Wrap: Tense, gripping clash of styles falls the All Blacks' way

Its been a while as an ABs supporter since I wanted to smash the TV during a game, even the cat had to go find some where quieter to sleep, my FFS count would equal the error and penalty count.
Good to have a game where emotion was involved even if not my best emotions.

The Wrap: Tense, gripping clash of styles falls the All Blacks' way

Watching the ABs play against the style the Boks brought was hard to watch.
