The A League was starting to develop a really dynamic youthful active fan driven culture until the suits at the time were sent into a panic by the spiteful Rebecca Wilson and the NRL/AFL press. And now we see the next generation of men in suits sent into a tizz by the actions of a mere 30 or so pitch invading buffoons. Rather than acknowledging the majority of OMS section remained in the stands it was easier to shut them down and bring out the brilliant marketing ploy of displaying black tarps to remind any viewers that something is wrong in AL land.. How about getting some sort of plan in place to help actives weed out future wrong doers. No it’s easier to shut things down all and hand out life bans with no known way of actually enforcing them. These issues hopefully may eventually be sorted but the AL will never have a true on field football culture until relegation is the price clubs pay for on and off field mediocrity

The A-League needs talking points and Dwight Yorke has just given us plenty

It’s a ridiculous situation That the owners are holding back from doing anything because they don’t Technically have complete control.surely relationships aren’t so fractured that they can’t begin to implement Some of The initiatives they promised. It’s an intolerable situation when you have absolutely no promotion or pro active statements of support at a time when the league is being gunned down by the rl/afl mafias

Relax, the A-League isn't going to collapse

This is a real issue but in the mean time both need to step up and actually promote

Relax, the A-League isn't going to collapse
