Tom T has some mistakes in his game but whenever he has the ball in his hands it’s all hands on deck. Tedesco is good but i’d go with Tom ahead of him.Bugger this boring mistake free footy lets go with players such as Tom,Latrell,Ado Carr who can destroy the opposition.

This is what happens when you have people such as Greenburg running the game.He’s only too happy to pat himself on the back & talk tough but how about fixing the game. The game these days is run by players,some coaches,managers & the press.
Here’s an idea, the officials decide the rules(not the coaches)
The refs enforce(not interpret) the rules which the players have to obey(without cam smith etc telling them what to do)
The press should just report the game without their obvious bias& agenda’s towards certain players,coaches,officials etc.
The NRL's stance on concussion does my head in
In my humble opinion the main things the refs should be looking at are the ruck with the play the ball being a dogs breakfast.Wrestling,rolling the ball through the legs,arms & bodies everywhere.
The loose carries that result in penalties because there are 2 or more men in the tackle,the ref just assumes because there are 2 in the tackle it’s a penalty.Players abusing officials & what about the knock- on rule, these days it is a case of just rule a knock-on when in most csaes the ball has obviously gone backwards.The whole game has become a game of touch/tag footy.

The time has well & truly arrived to make changes moving forward starting now.If some changes aren’t made for game 3 there wont be any for game 1 next year as the usual excuse of he’s not ready or we don’t want to throw him to the wolves in game 1 at suncorp will be heard.For me players such as G Bird,Gallen(who’s retiring from rep anyway),Woods(can’t believe he’s being mentioned as the next capt),Tamou,Jennings,Walker,Fifita&Ferguson need to be moved on.I can’t find a standout replacement for Farah at the moment(please don’t say Ennis,he’s failed before)so by default he stays for the last game.Blood the newbies in the last game so they are ready next series.If not for suspension & injury Frizell & Bird would still be on the outside looking in.

I think qld in a close one, however will be cheering the blues. Reynolds is a plus, his kicking game is normally faultless, defends well & seldom panics.I have visions of Moylan being monstered when bringing the ball back from kicks especially on his own line. His passing game however should be a bonus depending on the game plan. Walker on the bench is a concern as i just can’t see him getting much game time & where do you play him. The blues need more from Woods & Jackson who are imo good nrl players but pluggers in soo.

Walker may be there in case Moylan gets manhandled early on which is quite possible.Dugan goes back to fullback & Walker goes to centre.Unless Dugan’s arm is not right.
How do the Blues vs Maroons head-to-head battles stack up?
It’s always hard comparing players.I’m of the belief that JT is the best in the game now but when Lockyer was around he was.To me Joey is the better allround player, he changed the way the half played from kicking to passing & tackling.You can totally forget mom selections as they are so subjective especially from channel 9 who have their favs as well as those contracted to them & no matter how they play they just pick them anyway.Examples Burgess in 2014 grand final, 2015 grand final Milford,Morgan,Glanville & Coote were all better than JT. Most of the soo games as well where you can tell by 1/2 time from the commentators who is going to get it.If Joey was playing for Qld these day’s NSW would most likely get beat by 20 points everytime because of him.The blues selectors have always had no idea(which continues to this day)when selecting teams.If they had just picked Joey at 1/2 all the time they would have one more games instead of trying to find places for Kimmorley etc.He was that good they still picked him at hooker anyway.

Wood’s over Scott please.Scott gives you quality,Woods may give you quantity.I know which i would prefer.Stats can tell you anything you want to believe.I’ll take Scott’s 20 runs per game where he actually bumps off defenders,goes through the line with quick play the balls that put his side on the front foot compared to Wood’s 30 lumbering hit ups which don’t worry the defence & slow play the balls anytime.I couldn’t believe hearing yesterday that wood’s was the furure captain of the blues.Just because a front rower runs for 120 metres doesn’t mean his impact was better than the one who ran for 80 metres.

Every team has a ref they have trouble with as well as copping bad decisions.This will always be the case & robinson knows this.His outburst was a product of him being under pressure because for the first time in his nrl coaching career he doesn’t have the cattle he had previously.Maybe he should swap places with mcgregor,brown,henry or taylor to see what it is really like to have to earn your keep as a coach with the squad they have compared to what he is used to.As for fronting refs after games this should not be tolerated & a fine imo opinion is not enough. Points should be deducted as i’m sure this will make the “rich” clubs think twice before going down this path.

Seriously though i am ok with these changes & there wasn’t much more he could do as far as team selection goes when the problem lies with mary’s lack of coaching nous.Don’t forget he was the attacking coach under price & there has been no sign of improvement then or now.No wonder he was part of the blues coaching team as they can’t score enough points to beat qld as well.

Interesting not one person on here has mentioned Head.He seems to be one of the selectors favourites but so far has done very little to warrant his position.You watch,he’ll be brought back in, most likely to replace White.
