I must be the only person who thinks the result would have been the same without Cronk….keary has already won a comp and I don’t think he needed Cooper to tell him what to do …. Why didn’t the roosters just use Cronk to run water and organize attack just like Langer does… remember the roosters added an origin/Australian fullback and Mitchell is now the best centre in the game … which wasn’t the case in previous preliminary finals losses.

What was the point of having Cronk there….if they wanted him to give orders just let him run the water like Langer does…to win like that with basically 12 men was impressive… they going to be even stronger next year too.

Agree with albo…. they’ve looked flat for a while… McGregor absolutely copped it for apparently not managing the workload but I’ve heard nothing but praise for seibold.
Also they had a massive reliance on that left hand side triple decoy play and when teams worked it out they didn’t seem to have anywhere else to go.

I take a similar attitude towards the news and current affairs shows… don’t watch them….it’s all negative,scandalous and depressing….I think it’s because life is too good in Australia….I’ve just come back from 2 years living in Asia…..no road rage over there…why…. they struggling to survive… the last of their concerns is someone making them slow down or not indicating…..try that in oz and people ready to kill you.

The one rule I would change is the try off the kick….no conversion allowed… you’ve had your kick….a team can score a try off a well placed grubber and it’s undefendable…at least if you dive over from dummy half … that is defendable…. rabbits nearly beat storm the other week yet two tries came off bombs while most storm tries we’re great tries…it would encourage you to throw the ball around especially if you behind by 6.

This whole thing started because Sutton has no feel for the game….sure he knows the rules but doesnt have common sense… In state of origin…cronk picked up from dummy half….paused…then so obvious…. deliberately threw the ball into nsw player…if at that moment sutton yells out..play on…qld would have been disadvantaged and he wouldnt do again… instead he awards penalty and in the next 12 months everyone started doing it….it was crazy….so they changed the rule…. now if you make a legs tackle… just stay there and make them pass around you… as long as you dont hold on…you are sweet…common sense again last night would be play on….dragons disadvantaged….everyone happy….how souths could get a kick downfield and six tackles from an obstructing player is ridiculous.

Remember a few years ago when if you copped a little tap to the face you went down like you were shot… video ref looked at it…you got an easy penalty….they changed the rules that video ref couldn’t rule on it instantly… problem solved…now we have the slight neck pressure….stay down…grab your neck ….the refs will nearly always blow a penalty….you don’t have to go off for a hia even though if you are really injured it’s much worse than playing on slightly concussed… You get the penalty and play straight on…I have no doubt it’s being coached that if you get any neck pressure…stay down…ok the Chambers one was deliberate but most others appear to be a complete accident.
