I agree, around the world, people always want to see the best players, and Israel fits perfectly. And I say, Kurtley Beale should also be there,

Folau would be an Olympic Sevens star

I understand that something similar happens in Australia, where the Rugby Union is the 3rd or 4th sport in the preference of Australians, Cricket is the # 1, Rugby League # 2, and I think the rules Ozzie is the # 3. Am’I wronght.
But anyway, the Rugby Union in Australia has international competitions throughout the year, World Cup and so on, while the other 3 are more local sports.
All of us here in Argentina we don´t know nothing of the first 3 sports, but we know almost everything of Rugby Union in Australia, which although now is having a hard time, always was and will be fantastic.

An Argentine's view on why victory has eluded Los Pumas

Hi Santiago, I agree with your opinion, maybe the budget can have some kind of solution, which has no solution are the distances between one country and another. I personally suggested to the UAR continue develop the Rugby in this Region, incorporating to our provincial selections, one team with the best players of Uruguay, another with Chile, Paraguay and Brazil.
Any Argentina´s fan would love to have at least one team into the Super Rugby.

Landajo and Cubelli, not even that, they play in Amateur Clubs in Argentina.

An Argentine's view on why victory has eluded Los Pumas

Sorry, I forgot to comment, totally agree with Cordero, Isa and Lavaninni, I’m not sure what Patricio Fernandez can give , and definitely I do not like Guillemain, there is others Locks better than him. To me Alemano and Fruttero have more future.

An Argentine's view on why victory has eluded Los Pumas

Hi, dear friends
I suggest also, remember these names: Facundo Panceyra Garrido, 22, center, 1.92 and 99 kilos, his brother Anibal Panceyra Garrido, 24, third line, 1.94 and 106 Kilos, Jeronimo De la Fuente, 22 years, center, 1.83 and 93 kilos, and Javier Rojas, 22, Fly Half, center, back, 1.72 and 85 kilos.
The best Argentina’s scrum half is Nicolás Bruzzone. When The Pampas won the Vodacom Cup in South Africa 2011, Landajo and Cubelli were Bruzzone reserves, but he does not play for two reasons, the first is that he is not living in Buenos Aires, and the second is that, Phelan played for CASI Club, Pichot played for CASI too, and Landajo is a CASI player. Still too much lobbyi.
James you know I’m right.

An Argentine's view on why victory has eluded Los Pumas

You righy David, from Argentina to me Mowen is a better choice as captain, if not the alternative is Will Genia.
The fly half has to be Kurtley Beale.
My team, so that when the injured are back.

Ben Robinson – Moore or Polota – Kepu or Slipper
Horwill – Timani or Fardy
Mowen – Palu or Higgers- Pocock or Hooper
Genia – Beale
JOC – Kuridrani – Lealifano – AAC

Time to ring in the Wallaby changes

I understand that the difference in the first 40 minutes was made it by Fourie Du Prez, excellent job, simple, but very efficient.
In the second half, the Wallabies balanced their Scrum (very poor game by Alexander and Slipper), nice driving by Will Genia, the WB’s, didn´t kick the ball to much, the worst mistake made by this good player Nick, (giving back to the Boks, the ball possesion). Will , made an intersting game, trying to avoid the physical contact , and ended up losing the second half 7 to 5
For me the positive things were, the task of the back row in the second half, did not lose a single scrum (great effort by BR, SM and SK). Promising job by Kuridrani.
One question, what is QC still doing and the team, is true that the WB’s scored a try from a good kick, but then it was very evident that the Bokslaunched their players on his space, is more balls were kick where he was.

Wallabies' woes continue with South Africa walloping

I choose an I lean in favor of Stephen Larkham, all in Argentina admire this player, and as coach he will be extraordinary.
In addition to Australian fans, they like well played rugby, I wonder who better than SL to run a good ofensive game .

Let´s go STEPHEN!

Larkham vs Fisher for Brumbies coaching job

Hi nickoldschool
I´m glad to hear from you again, yes you are right. When I arrived home from my job, I read the news that Mario closed his contract for 3 more years in Montpellier, in Argentina we are 12 hours behind of Australia.
I like your idea too, Fabien Galthie was Phelan assistan coach before Graham Henry, and he did a great job, he not only was an smart player, he definetely is a great coach too.

Jake White stuns the Brumbies with early departure

I understand that this is the right time to launch a Stephen Larkham, the most talented rugby player I’ve seen in a field. The Maradona of rugby.

Jake White stuns the Brumbies with early departure

I HOPE SO, we were telling to the U.A.R. to hide Jake, is the perfect coach for Pumas. His style fits perfectly.
Although it seems to me, that the one who have a better chance is Michell Cheika. He is the name that sounds a few days ago in Argentina, and would be assisted by two Pumas former player he knows very well, when he trained Stade Francais in France, Mario Ledesma as Scrum coach and Felipe Contepomi as assistant coach.

Jake White stuns the Brumbies with early departure

Tane, you forgot Kurtley Beale, at this time is the beast WB´s fly half. Ben Robinson should also be included, I always want these two players on my team. If Benwill be in the initial 15, you’ll see how better WB´s scrum will be.
Fernando – Argentina

Wallabies must get better at 'cheating'

Mike
I do believe that Ben can change the situation of the Wallabies Scrum, is more if Mc Kenzie include Sekope Kepu of Tighthead prop, the Boks are not going to be that easy.
Surely Ben will defeat Jannie Du Plessis in his contest, and WB’s confidence will grow from Scrum.

Fernando – Argentina

Robinson cut deep by Wallabies dumping

Good for Ewan, Ben always should be on the team.
Goos luck

Big Benn back to stabilise Wallabies

Hi Magic Sponge
I join you idea, I think it’s a great idea.
I do really love the way Scot analyzes all game situations, he is always aware of which aspects can be improved, and should be changed, and for what I have read, many Australian fans have a great match with Scott’s comments.
I´ve no doubt Stephen Larkham, is the smartest rugby player I’ve ever seen, and Topo surely would be a kind of talisman for the scrum of WB’s, he was a passionate player, he is figther, and will be a great scrum coach.
I VOTE FOR THE NEW COACHES FOR AFTER RC
SCOTT ALLEN
STEPHEN LARKHAM
TOPO RODRIGUES

I don´t know much about ELLA.

Reason for optimism after Argentina win?

No Paul, I think it’s unfair what you say, because in the Argentina try, Nigel Owens apply to video, and the TMO reported “you can award the Try”, in the other two plays, nothing. In fact, I can say that Fardy´s penalty minutes 36, the Australian television did not repeat it.
Anyway, you have the right to make your opinion.

Reason for optimism after Argentina win?

Hi Scott, nice to hear from you again
Last year, Gonzalo Quesada, began training at Paris Racing Metro, and took Patricio Noriega with him as scrum coaching. Gonzalo and Pat were former teammate in Hindú Club in Argentina, when Pat began, Both did an amazing job, reaching semifinals in the playoff.
This year, both of them crossed the sidewalk and signed with Stade Francais, where also Ewan Mc Kenzie and Micheal Cheika, were working as coaches. This year the SF hired Digby Ioane and Morné Steyn, although they still didn´t play.
They are doing extremely well, beating in the last two games to Clearmont and Brive.
Unfortunately many fans, wanted to see Patricio as Scrum coach with the Pumas, but into the UAR things are too political (I guess the same thing happens in the ARU). The other scrum coach we want in the Pumas staff is Federico Mendez, but he lives in a city far away from Buenos Aires, nor was ever called.
In Argentina we have a phrase that says, “GOD is everywhere, but serves in Buenos Aires”
I read an article about Topo Rodriguez, he is from my Province town, Cordoba. I haven´t see him too much.

Reason for optimism after Argentina win?

Hi, as always Scott, very good article
Let me say something, since I began to see Rugby in the World Cup 1999 (I´d dropped soccer), I understand that the best Scrum the Wallabies had, was under Patricio Noriega direction. Before ARU signed him, in Argentina it was said that Patricio would be the new coach of Pumas Scrum.
As I know Scott you like statistics, I invite you to do one of the WB’s Scrum under Deans-Noriega´s conduction, to me was oustanding, and I say this because I have not lost a single game of the WB ‘s over these years.
The first Mc Kenzie problem in these games, was not calling the best loosehead prop Australia have had in all of this years. Ben Robinson never was otherwise dominated by a rival. I understand that Slipper is a Reds player who contributes in all, he can run, tackle, do everything well, but he is not that good into the scrum. Let me give an example, Roncero was one of the best Pumas loosehead prop, although in the Scrum since the last World Cup, was penalized many times like Slipper is. Ayerza is much more solid scrumagging that Roncero is, so, Marcos for 5 years, is dressing shirt # 1, in the best England team, Leicester.
Scott, we all my respect let me finally say something, I understand that the WB’s did not win the game last Saturday, Nigel Owens did not let the Pumas to do it. As I’m reading you’ll do a video analysis, I would like you to include 36 minutes of the game, Fardy in playing the ball 5 yards from the ground (must be penalty and yellow card), and after 46 minutes, also 5 yards, Mowen leaves the maul and enter through the side, and with Rob Simmons, collapsed the maul, at least should be punished with penalty.
I have great respect for the Australian Rugby, I´m a big fan of the golden boys, a player that I have admired all over the Rugby World is Stephen Larkham, and I know they will get through of this moment. I have my doubts if Mc Kenzie is able to do it, otherwise after de RC, ARU will be looking for a new coach:
For the next game, just as Warren Gatland did on the third Lyons game, Being Played by Welsh players, leaving O Driscaoll at the bench, Ewan should rest a few players, I understandshould start White, Toomua, Lelifano and Kuridrani (rest Alexander, Slipper, Simmons and AAC for a game), bringin Robinson back, Kepu and Timani, into the 15 jersey.
Good Luck, and will see you here in Rosario.

Reason for optimism after Argentina win?

Denb Thanks for your honesty too. The problem is not at all objectionable to the Wallabies, any player in the world will try to do the best for his team, the problem here was the referee.
I also understand, that Roman Poite hurt the Wallabies in the third game of the series against the Lyons, I did not understand the faults that were charged against the WB´s in Scrum, the Ben Alexander sinbinned was unfair. I repeat a thought that I have, the Lyons had to win the series after so many years, and the referee helped, it most likely that the Lyons won the game anyway, because the only Robbie error, was not to rotate the players, and as that I could see, came on the third play tired, but the result at the end should be another.

MC KENZIE, Please, bring back Ben ROBINSON!, The team needs him!!!. Far away. By far, Ben is one of the 5 best loosehead prop in the world, Slipper is OK, but not as good as Ben into the scrum.

Relief for Link, Wallabies in one-point victory over Pumas

Tanks Dmac por your honesty.

Relief for Link, Wallabies in one-point victory over Pumas

Unfortunately, Nigel Owens played dumb, and did not allow the Pumas win this game.
SCOTT ALLEN, I respect and I agrre whit most of your comments, I know you like videos, and I would like to know your opinión. Please check this:

36 Minutes, Fardy in Australia five yards, played the ball from the ground (Australia Television didn’t repeat it), that was a penalty and yellow card. Nothing called!
Minute 46, again at 5 yards Australian Line and maul, Mowen joined, and then cleary comes from the side, and along with Rob Simmon collpsing the maul, that was penalty and yellow card, Try situation. This poor referee, played fool again.

I understand that just as the Lyons had to win the series after many years, and eferee called against Australia, today Australia had to win, so Nigel Owens helped, as he did in the World Cup, when the WB´s faced Samoa.

It´s not a Genia problem, it is a Coach disorientation who cause this.
Agree Juan Martin Hernandez.
