That Maynard non-free should’ve been paid. Sheed deliberately takes him out of the contest in order to mark. 3 years on and I STILL can’t get it out of my head. But I guess all grand finals have some dodgy calls here and there.
The ten greatest grand finals of the last 30 years
Exactly! I didn’t want it just to be the list every one has, e.g your Bont, Walsh, Merrett, Oliver. Wines etc.
Forget the Brownlow – these are my top ten players of 2021
Miller was 11th for me. It was basically 50-50 with him and Walsh.
Forget the Brownlow – these are my top ten players of 2021
Yeah they have. But it probably sounds better.

Even though McKay won the Coleman, he just didn’t have as good a set shot routine as Daniher I think. Even though he didn’t kick as many, he just looked more reliable in front of goal. Keep in mind McKay is Carlton’s only real goal scorer, whereas Brisbane has McCarthy, Cameron, and Bailey to deal with. Parker has been really influential this year, I thought he just carried their team to the finals, not Mills, if that’s who your referring to.

Yep, I thought he was in the draft.
Finteresting: Jeremy Finlayson's prospects at Alberton
Sam Walsh is mine. Once your middle of the pack team starts playing well against Carlton, he’ll just kick a crazy good goal to finish off your team, and the commentators will go ballistic.
Who is the most annoying player in the AFL?
There seems a simple solution. Port could take in Finlayson, trade ladhams out for a draft pick, and use it to get Sam Hayes.

I’m the same as you, although I’m from NSW.
Stop dreaming - Tasmania won't get its own AFL team
Garry was still really good last year. He’s done better than Huggins, he was in the best 18 each week.
If Geelong still had Gary Ablett, they would've been unbackable flag favourites
I’m a pies fan. Not a cats fan.

Ablett played in the middle.

How many brownlow’s has Max Gawn won? Also, the cats’ list back then was very good, they had Matthew Scarlett, Cameron Ling, Steve Johnson, and all these gun players, and that list is better than 2020-2021 list.

Anastasia doesn’t want or care about them either.

They have 2 professional sporting stadiums at either end of the state that they could use for any ball sport in the world. Why not build a club there? Lots of membership sales would be made from the footy loving public. Not like GWS or Gold Coast who have no one committing to membership.

That’s what a midfielder does. Seb Ross would be encouraged to drill it in to Stringer and McDonald Tipingwuti.
Essendon 2022: Is there room for one more explosive centre?
If they do play at Optus it will be a neutral venue. And they have a home qualifying in Adelaide.
Have Port smuggled themselves into a grand final berth?
Steven May on Jeremy Cameron I reckon. Good battle there.
Geelong vs Melbourne preview: This could be game of the year
I think cotchin still has a few years left in him. That game against the giants, the commentators were saying that if he got up, the tigers would too. I reckon he might do something special next season.
'Short rebuild or try to spring back immediately': Their reign over, Richmond stand at a fork in the road
Generally Maynard doesn’t make too many mistakes. He would beat Rioli in a one on one because eye is a defender. He wold mark the ball, and just kick long. But the fact that Rioli stayed with him and kept trying to mark even though Maynard is probably going to, is the definition of a block. I don’t think he was really interested in marking the ball. Sheed came from behind as well, by rioli having made space for him.
