Momo will not be in starting team for the Chooks.. he hasn’t been training with the first grade squad or involved in any trials
You wouldn’t know it, but Matt Lodge is in our team and will be starting, at worst off the bench

The young backrower Shia Wong, who played 80 mins for Fiji in their final will come thru this year and I suspect may start. This allows Nat or Egan Butcher to play front row/ backrow rotation with Collins/ JWH.
Watson and E Butcher to the bench
The Roosters backs look sizable with a nice balance of experience and youth
The forwards just need to gel with Smith and stay fit
They went well when most of their squad was fit and not suspended

Just shows how ineffective M Pearce is. Pearce has been a hooker for the last 6 years, sadly while the ole boys still prop up his good name, no one will tap him on the shoulder
