Players should expect the selection of the best players available at the time for test duties.

'Breathing life back into Australian rugby': How Reds revolution can supercharge several Wallaby careers

PK, I was thinking about the Wallaby squad… I’m still bitter about Harry Wilson not being selected though happy that he was here to help Bros win the Brisbane club competition.

Don’t worry Cockroaches, the Tah players’ test spots are safe.

“Wallaby great” … I had hoped he had more ambition. He should be take pleasure in how far he has come. The revolving door to the Coach’s box make further success very difficult.

This Jock talk reminds me of the talk of Bernaaaarrd boosters when he was around. He had a good game against Scotland once. Jock is a lean athletic player with good passing skills who had a nice game against the Waratahs in a trial match! Petaia wouldn’t get injuries if he didn’t try so hard; he should get some instructions from Suli.

Tahs suffer fresh injury blow ahead of Super Rugby season, Reds rookie favoured for No.10 jersey

I hope HM-P doesn’t have to play 80 minutes and that Lawson gets some game time at #10. It’s a long season.
I guess we’ll see if Les has any brains.

I watched Lawson score three tries in the first half of a club game leadingg up to Bros’ Grand Final win. He is a strong balanced runner and he is young. His golf is shxt!

Force edge Reds at Ballymore after Harry Potter double as fit-again Wallaby stars

Early days.L-C has been playing club footy. He’s a big #10 and durable. It’s not that he can’t pass. He will learn to spread the ball under Les.

Cec, There ìs no chance Jordan will be dropped by the Reds. They couldn’t hold Kerevi. Petaia has a great resume. Notwithstanding some asinine comments here, he is hot property on the football market. Even Eddie Jones could see that. If he doesn’t get the WallabyTop up payments, he will be off to Europe or Japan in a flash. Quade can show him the sights.

Jordan Petaia is a brilliant player, big strong, fast with a powerful kick. He had just endured six years with a hopeless coach and a World cup campaign managed by Eddie Jones. He has been forced to play outside substandard #10s. When it looks back in his career so far the win loss record is very ordinary. Like all good players he wants to play in teams that are successful. Sometimes a marquee player will go to an ordinary team for the money. Jordan who plays with 100% enthusiasm every game it’s entitled to look for a better opportunity. Kiss and Schmidt have 12 months to impress him.

I have the feeling the Australian Seven team is like a little club for batchelor mates, jealous of 15’s players who are tougher and more well known. They do not like new experienced famous people coming in. There are only a few places available and if you are replaced you have to go back home to obscurity and get a job.

Ex-Wallabies skipper to miss Perth Sevens in 'disappointing' setback

For years and years, there’s been a laundry list of people who are supposed to be better players than Cooper. Coach Goon sacked Quade before his first season started because the tradesman like Hamish Stewart was going to be a great #10 for the Reds. If Carter Gordon doesn’t have the requisite skill set for test football now, he’ll never develop them. The Wallabies need two top level #10s for every test match.

Not super, Cooper: Quade's Wallabies recall mission begins with yellow card, thumping loss in Japan

According to the Wallaby website he was the playmaker for the team the beat the world champion Springboks in his last test.
2021
More than four years after his 70th cap Cooper returned to the Wallabies when named to face South Africa in the first Test on the Gold Coast. In a masterful display Cooper converted all seven penalty goals and the conversion of Andrew Kellaway’s sole try to secure a memorable 28-26 win. Cooper won a further four caps, each in the winning side, before he reluctantly withdrew from the Spring Tour to honour commitments with his Japanese club.

Some years ago Alan Jones was appointed coach I’ve a barbarian team to play the Wallabies. The Barbarians nearly beat the Wallabies and Alan said he left tactical matters in the hands of Quade.

Quade Cooper rides the road to redemption in Japanese rugby return

Like many kiwi and Australian players and coaches, Quade has made a good living playing for big corporate Japanese rugby teams for a few years now next to the brilliant Will Genia. He’s always in top physical condition and loves the game, even playing club footy in Brisbane for Souths during the tragic period of coach Brad ‘the goon’ Thorn’s tenure. I can’t understand the use of the word “Redemption”.

Six years of Brad Thorn has not helped the Reds.
The illegal sacking of Folau didn’t help.
The fact that rugby is now cheap to attend suits me. Great club games are free to watch every Saturday afternoon. Stan highlight packages enable me to watch the best bits of every game.

TLN, Yohan Blake was born in 1989 and ran 9.85 last year. Hoop’s ability read play, make breaks and be in support position make him invaluable. The ‘ Lost Boys ” in the sevens team will learn a lot from him. I cannot understand why Hoops is not arrogant.

'Always knew it would get really ugly': RA chief's strange admission as World Cup budget blow out revealed

You shouldn’t judge Petaia’s World cup form too harshly because he was playing outside two of the worst #10’s ever selected for the wallabies.

Eddie's painful reminder of what might have been at World Cup as big name Wallabies star despite Baabaas defeat

Sanchez missed the seemingly simple kick to convert the first Barbarian try like he missed a kick to win the World Cup playoff for third place. At one point he did a useless chip kick straight to a Welsh back when Tongan Thor was right beside him keen to go. It was as though Brad Thorn was coaching Sanchez.
