Round 15 AFL power rankings

Ok well in that case you are probably nearer the mark but could still be better

Round 15 AFL power rankings

Your rankings are getting worse give it up mate. Richmond deserve to be near bottom after last week. Crazy. The Eagles too. Bulldogs probably justified and Brisbane and Melbourne. Port no way 4th they just scraped past Sydney. Nah you just have not got it right any week really. Only partly. Fremantle 4th after a terrific win on the road. Geelong way lower after their dismal performance.

Round 15 AFL power rankings

No chance this year mate. Some easy games coming up but Saints were supposed to be easy. I think you will make finals but going out in first game sorry the dynasty is over for this year. No chance of premiership I will say that now.

Tigers under pressure in finals race

Geelong more firepower but Brisbane at home are a tough one. I’ll go with Brissie in a close match again.

Premiership heavies set for Brisbane Catfight this Thursday night

Eagles Must win every home game from now on. If they don’t it’s time to write them off this year. I’m excited but it’s going to be a tough game against Bulldogs.

AFL power rankings: Here's where your team is at

Deal

The AFL should become a fully national competition

You have vested and bias interest in the Suns so your comments are very subjective, I understand that. I would not mind the Suns as an expansion club but not at the expense of a foundation state. Tassie have suffered long enough and given plenty to the AFL. As I proposed earlier keep the Suns as is but bring on Tas and NT as the 19th and 20th and I am not sure if it is credible or advantageous to relocate GWS to ACT. More research on my behalf is required in this matter. I am very passionate about full national representation. I have made it my hobby. I know many are sceptical and not on board. That’s fine but I ain’t giving up that easily.

The AFL should become a fully national competition

You are wrong and they will have a team and it will be much sooner than you think. Watch this space. I’ve met your sort before never admitting they are wrong.

The AFL should become a fully national competition

Freo have at least got to a Grand Final and been minor premiers. What has Gold Coast done? Have they ever been in finals ? They are a joke.

The AFL should become a fully national competition

Let me see how much is the AFL pumping into GES and Gold Coast? Compared to the rest of the competition? I wonder. You are trying to justify it in broadcasting revenue that’s a joke and you are the one who is delusional. I may not like Mr McGuire usually but on this point I totally agree with him. As the former president of Collingwood I would say he knows just that little more about this sport and it’s mechanisms than you.

The AFL should become a fully national competition

The AFL made a huge mistake with both of those teams. Stop defending their ridiculous decision. You have no facts in what you stated regarding any of the NT Tasmania or ACT proposals. Governments CEO and Eddy Maguire are not stupid. Who cares about the fastest growing populations if they are not even interested in AFL? Ridiculous comments.

The AFL should become a fully national competition

What I don’t understand is why was football ever moved to summer. It is was and always will be a winter sport. Despite the quality of A league being close to League One football in UK at best it has still produced quality world class players like Cahill Kewell Viduka and Emerson. I don’t know how to explain that. I think it should field teams from the 3 most populous states perhaps 4 for each of NSW 4 and Vic 4 and from Qld 2 and then from the smaller states and NZ 2 Such as Perth 2 Adelaide 2 Hobart 1 Launceston 1 Darwin 1 and Canberra 1. 20 in total . A second division with promotion and relegation. The top division being A1 and the second division A2. I am not sure if the geography and make up of the second league but I am sure there enough towns and teams to get a division together. They should not be scared to go up against the AFL or NRL or Rugby football codes. Get it done.

Fans, players and the administration want a winter A-League

When Australia starts beating some footballing nations that people have heard of I think there will be a lot of interest. Yes I mean the Italies, the Frances, the Argentinians, the Welshman or the English. Until then they will be a league One national side equivalent.

Socceroos complete perfect second round with win over Jordan

What annoys me is the massive amount of push back to expanding. Why? If it wasn’t for the first expansion teams the AFL would not exist. You would just have the state comps who were losing money hand over fist. CEO of current clubs are all for it. Eddie Maguire is for it. The state governments of Tasmania and NT are all for it. For goodness sake stop putting up barriers and get it done. Such rubbish arguments against it. Crazy. I personally think you are sitting on a goldmine of interest and public support and it is being ignored and rebuked. What was the reaction when Sydney first came in? What was the reaction when West Coast came in? I remember oh too well it was absolute rebuke from many areas. Mainly from the VFL supporters who were crying about the demise of “their” comp and “ their” game. Life is not fair that’s all I have to say to them and if the Eagles had to be disbanded for financial or other reasons. Yes I would be devastated but not hostile if facts had to be faced. I have said it a million times and I know there are many who agree that Tasmania should have had theirs long before GWS and Gold Coast. I think it’s because the majority of readers on this forum are probably Victorian. Long live Tasmania and NT and even the ACT.

Steady on

The AFL should become a fully national competition

Thanks for all the advice noted and will report back

The AFL should become a fully national competition

I was proposing the 22 as I did not want to upset too many Melbourne based supporters as to wiping out their teams. What with the history etc although I know inevitably they will need to be reduced at some point. Let’s not think about the COVID effect I believe it will be temporary. By 2200 it will be too late mate I am not sure the human race will be around.

The AFL should become a fully national competition

Yes sorry I think that was a typo

The AFL should become a fully national competition

Hand on my heart I can say Eagles will not get to GF this year but with all our guns back and firing we certainly are going to scare the opposition a little, whoever they are.

Will the real Richmond please stand up?

Sorry Rohan not Rothan

The stars align for the Cats in 2021: A premiership is coming

The biggest danger to the Cats is injury. If Cameron Guthrie or Rothan or Hawkins sustain any injuries suddenly their fire power is diminished. Obvious I know but just saying. Barring that I don’t see any team at the moment stopping them. As much as Richmond have been the team to beat and rightly respected come finals time and with all their main players back and at home at the MCG I seriously do not want them in GF this year. So come on Brissy Melbourne Dogs and Swans I don’t rate Port sorry. One of these teams please to be the other contender to Geelong.

By that reckoning we should be up there next year then with most of our stars for and the swan song for JK Hurn and the oldies and the blooding of young guns Allen Edwards Foley Rotham Brander etc pretty much complete . We should be a force to reckon with.
