I am hoping that all the Force fans will get behind the Rebels as we will become a hybrid team. This whole thing has been a debacle and lacked transparency through the entire saga. If the Rebels were gone my support would be with the Force. I had already signed up for the “own the force” campaign before this saga had started and i am foundation member at the Rebels. It has been a sad year for Australian Rugby with the ARU making some very poor decisions including this one as well as afternoon June test on the long weekend in Melbourne.. talk about a disconnect. I hope that the current concessions that the powerhouses get is reviewed and spread to to the Rebels and the side we put on the field can do the current situation some justice. The Rebels must make the finals in the next 2 years (same as if it was the Force) for this whole thing to be worth while from a player depth argument.

Remember the times when you never questioned who was in the match day squad? if you started watching 15 years ago then probably not. and here lies one of the issues. Everyone can see we have the wrong team selected and then combined with poor structures to accommodate their deficiencies. Funny it is something the rugby community can see but the staff cant. Every year it is the same comments after a flogging.. trust, new system, NZ were excellent. Something has to change as more of he same just done harder isn’t the answer and doesn’t show a team learning from their mistakes

The way this is being handled is shocking and as most people are saying, handled better. One concern is that the decision that a lot of people are saying should be based on performance and then hammering the rebels. Yes, their performance this year is poor (to be nice) and not helping their cause. On previous form what side would be targeted.
